ABOUT ME

I was born into a family of musicians. So it was very likely that my mother would put a small violin in my hand at the age of seven.
From then on, my life has changed. It was clear to me that I wanted to continue on the path of music. In 2012, at the age of 18, I turned my life upside down and began my studies in Cologne, I completed my bachelor's degree and a year later I got one Scholarship to study in Finland.
A year later I was back in Cologne to complete my master's degree as a soloist and chamber musician.
I was fortunate enough to learn from great educators and today I enjoy a career that fulfills me, giving concerts with various chamber music groups, organizing projects in retirement homes, playing with various orchestras in the area and doing intensive educational work.
At the same time, I'm broadening my horizons and doing an exciting training in music therapy.

philosophy

My students get exactly as much time from me as they need.
Correct posture is very important to me, I provide learning tools and together we work to overcome technical obstacles.

I am always present and pay attention to the needs of my students in order to accompany and promote their development.
I enjoy working with people who are just starting to discover the violin for themselves, want to resume their lessons or are looking for a new teacher in Cologne.

I design the lessons very individually. This means that my lessons are prepared according to your needs and are based on your progress. I usually divide the time of the lesson into repeating the previous lesson, learning new pieces and techniques, and resolving doubts.

I studied with great violin teachers. Thanks to them I got a nice and very healthy approach to music and can work on what is my great passion.

What is my educational experience?
I've always had an inner drive to teach. At the age of 20 I started working with children and was employed in music schools in Cologne. Since then I have further developed my methodology and have gained a lot of experience to this day. During my stay in Finland I was very enriched by their system and their way of teaching. It has certainly opened many doors for me and now I use it in my work. It's a job I'm passionate about doing.

Hello, I’m a franco-Peruvian singer, living in Cologne where I recently finished my studies.

I teach singing for all ages and levels in Cologne, at my place in Mülheim, and I can also come to yours if you’re residing in the Cologne region. My name is Rocco, I’m a guitarist and educator currently based in Cologne, and I’m offering private guitar lessons taught in English -or Italian (aber ich spreche auch ein bisschen Deutsch..!).

I grew up in Italy, and graduated at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem (NL) in 2019.
During the last few years I attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston (2014), won the “Locomotive Jazz Festival Giovani” contest (2015), and played and recorded together with musicians such as Jerome Hol, René Creemers, Andre Groen, Pieter Douma and Alan Purves.
