I'm Aimee and I am a student at Københavns Universitet studying English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Prior to moving to Copenhagen I was an English tutor for four years, teaching students both in and out of school. I typically tutor students from folkeskole to Gymnasium level and have taught those with additional needs such as dyslexia and autism and respect that some children need a little extra help with certain subjects. I recognise that different students learn in different ways and so I am able to tailor my sessions to their learning style. I am very successful with my tutoring and have helped pupils raise their grades from below a pass to top grades. I am enthusiastic and driven which I feel is very important especially as, from experience, when someone struggles academically they tend to distance themselves from that certain subject. By having a positive and passionate tutor alongside their revision, I've found that students tend to warm to the subject after only a few weeks even if they still feel they struggle. This positive mindset really helps to drive them to reach their full potential and achieve the grade they deserve. I am very excited to begin tutoring and I hope to hear from you soon.

Learning languages is fun and even more if you practice it with a native speaker. Spanish will not only be useful when you travel to Spain and you can order tapas on your own in the Plaza Mayor in Madrid; but in all South America and even talking to the millions of people around the world who are in each continent, eager to share a talk in their mother tongue and thus be able to connect with other cultures; the same desire that you have to discover their language, their customs, their feelings.

I am an Italian language teacher for adults and children. During my academic career I became passionate about teaching Italian to foreigners and after a course dedicated to teaching I obtained the CEDILS certification, this has allowed me to develop different experiences of teaching Italian at schools and at the University of Copenhagen. I mostly work with articles and papers to help students to improve reading skills and to expand vocabulary. The topics will depend on the students interests. This class is for students who want to refine their English pronunciation, either for examination preparation or for job interviews. My goal is to give students the confidence to speak English fluently and accurately. I am an experienced teacher and linguist, and I encourage students to develop their speaking skills for academic, social and career advancement. Online classes are structured, with regular homework. Pronunciation classes are recorded, so that students can practise at home, and I give them regular progress reports, so that they can measure their improvement.

Hi! I'm Léa and I'm a French Erasmus exchange student at the University of Copenhagen this year. I'm in my third year of studies at Sciences Po Toulouse and I'd like to give French and/or English classes for all levels (A1 to C1) a few hours per week. MY APPROACH

I know what it's like to learn a new language and I know just how scary it can be to open your mouth to try and speak it.

I will provide a safe space, free of criticism or embarrassment, to help you overcome your fears of learning this VITAL world language. The English language can really be your passport to the world :-)

The time it takes to learn English is different for different people, but the statistics show that the more you hear the language and the sooner you start speaking it - even if it's slow and difficult at first - the faster you will learn.

My job is not to explain complex rules and grammar to you. You can learn those online or in a school.

I'm here to get you speaking and listening, so that you train your ears and your mouth in English. And over time, bit by bit, I will also help you to speak more accurately.

Luckily for you, because English is spoken so widely, native English speakers are quite used to hearing English spoken incorrectly. So there's really no need to stress too much about your little errors in grammar or pronunciation.
