I am an Italian language teacher for adults and children. During my academic career I became passionate about teaching Italian to foreigners and after a course dedicated to teaching I obtained the CEDILS certification, this has allowed me to develop different experiences of teaching Italian at schools and at the University of Copenhagen. Most of my experience in tutoring Spanish is helping students with a medium and advanced level of Spanish. I mostly work with articles and papers to help students to improve reading skills and to expand vocabulary. The topics will depend on the students interests. This class is for students who want to refine their English pronunciation, either for examination preparation or for job interviews. My goal is to give students the confidence to speak English fluently and accurately. I am an experienced teacher and linguist, and I encourage students to develop their speaking skills for academic, social and career advancement. Online classes are structured, with regular homework. Pronunciation classes are recorded, so that students can practise at home, and I give them regular progress reports, so that they can measure their improvement.
This is my special area, but I am also an experienced exam coach and
academic proofreader (MA and PhD theses).

Hi! I'm Léa and I'm a French Erasmus exchange student at the University of Copenhagen this year. I'm in my third year of studies at Sciences Po Toulouse and I'd like to give French and/or English classes for all levels (A1 to C1) a few hours per week. Furthermore, I've a C1 level in English (TOEFL iBT : 100 points in December 2019 ; CEFR level C2) and practise this language since about 10 years. MY APPROACH

I know what it's like to learn a new language and I know just how scary it can be to open your mouth to try and speak it.

I will provide a safe space, free of criticism or embarrassment, to help you overcome your fears of learning this VITAL world language. The English language can really be your passport to the world :-)

The time it takes to learn English is different for different people, but the statistics show that the more you hear the language and the sooner you start speaking it - even if it's slow and difficult at first - the faster you will learn.

My job is not to explain complex rules and grammar to you. You can learn those online or in a school.

I'm here to get you speaking and listening, so that you train your ears and your mouth in English. And over time, bit by bit, I will also help you to speak more accurately.

Luckily for you, because English is spoken so widely, native English speakers are quite used to hearing English spoken incorrectly. So there's really no need to stress too much about your little errors in grammar or pronunciation.

Let's just get you speaking! :-)
