About Me
I took up the flute when I was 7, from that young age music was a hugely important part of my life. I was 11 when I took up the Double Bass, soon to become my first study focus into sixth-form education when I was offered a place at conservatoire. I relocated to London as a young adult in 2000, to take up my place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, completing my BMus Hons degree at City University in 2004. Since then I have been firmly installed in the education of music, as well as developing a wide variety of professional performance levels as a lower strings specialist as well as developing skills as a world music percussionist, specifically samba and djembe/African drumming.
