About Me
I am a primary school teacher who loves building relationships with her pupils, getting to know them and being able to adapt my lessons to suit their needs.

I have a degree in French and Spanish and am bilingual with Italian and love sharing this knowledge with other people, with a view to opening up a whole new world (quite literally) of culture and knowledge to them.

Language, Literacy, and Maths are the cornerstones of education, forming the basis upon which all other learning is built. I offer personalised lessons to support your child's growth in any of these essential subjects.

With nearly 20 years of classroom experience as a qualified primary school teacher and almost 30 years as a dedicated personal tutor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every lesson. I tailor my teaching to suit your child's unique abilities and pace, ensuring that each session is both fun and engaging. My goal is to help your child reach their full potential and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

In reading, we delve into comprehension, encouraging your child to read "beyond the text" and grasp not just the words, but the deeper meanings and the author's intent.

In Maths, we cover the fundamentals of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, while also fostering problem-solving skills to apply their knowledge in various contexts.

If you believe your child could benefit from extra support in Language or Maths, or even both, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I am a self-motivated ItalianTeacher with a personal extended experience in teaching in different settings, with different modalities, for students of different ages (extensive experience with children).
I have created my own method ‘ITALIAN with CLAUDIA’ offering in presence and online classes with my personal methodology with great results.
I teach Italian as a second language. I have a Hons degree in Foreign Language and Literature from the University of Verona-Italy.
I have worked in primary schools, in Language Centres and Private Schools of Language in Italy and later in Alicante Spain where I lived for 15 years.
I have taught Italian to students of different ages and levels, from a classroom to my student’s house or place of work or at home in 1to1 or online classes.
In Scotland since 2018, I have been teaching Italian to different level students online or in presence and I am currently teaching Italian with my personal method developed during my extended teaching experience.
I have a wide range of practice as a foreign language teacher, and I can teach Italian (native) in English. I am very adaptable and flexible to work in different environments
I have created my own personal method of working and I use different teaching styles including creative activities. I am a dynamic teacher with a special communication channel with my students.
Teaching is for me both a passion and a vocation and I consider myself compassionate, patient, observant, detail-oriented and creative.

*Subjects available: All Primary subjects (e.g., literacy and English, maths and numeracy, social subjects, sciences etc.) and German and Spanish to Advanced Higher/A-Level*

My name is Zoe and I am a fully qualified and registered Primary Teacher working in Glasgow. Before moving into education, I completed my undergraduate degree in German and Spanish at the University of St Andrews (2020) and speak both languages to an advanced level (C1 of CEFR). I am currently working part-time as a Primary Teacher and tutor while I also undertake a Master's in Psychology at the University of Glasgow.

I have taught from Primary 2 - 7 and am also qualified to teach pupils until the end of S3. I have a background in working with primary school pupils with additional support needs, including ASD, AD(H)D, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. I believe in a child-centred education and always adapt my teaching to the needs, abilities and personalities of pupils. Quality learning only takes place when positive relationships are in place, so I take great pride in developing trusting and respectful bonds with pupils. Hi, I'm Axel,

I have been working as a private French tutor for five years. As a native speaker of French with a first-class degree in French Literature from Le Mirail University of Toulouse. I moved to Glasgow 7 years ago to work as a visual artist.

I have a wealth of experience tutoring a wide range of people of all levels, from beginners to university students. I therefore possess a thorough understanding of the learning process and the specific difficulties students can face. Consequently, I have developed efficient methods of overcoming these on an individual basis. In my tutorials, I believe learning is most effective when it happens in a relaxed and comfortable environment. I therefore focus on engaging with students in a friendly manner making my lessons as interactive as they should be.

In addition to my degree, I am a qualified youth group leader with extensive experience teaching drama and art to children in schools and different institutions. I have worked as a customer service agent for 4 years in London before moving here perfecting my level of formal English. Furthermore I am a recent fine art graduate able to adapt my lessons to a more creative/visual learner.

I offer 1 hour sessions. I'm also happy to discuss longer sessions.
I also offer group tuition, which has many educational benefits - please contact me if you would like to discuss this.

I can travel anywhere within the Glasgow city area and can meet with students in their homes, or in a cafe/library. I am also happy to teach on zoom depending on your availability.

If that's something you could be interested in, please get in touch!

Looking forwards to working with you soon.
