📚 Private tutoring: Maths & Physics
With the start of the school year approaching, it's the perfect time to catch up on any gaps in knowledge from the summer and get off to a good start, or to calmly prepare for a remedial session. Does your child need extra help in math or physics? I offer personalized tutoring to help them regain confidence and make lasting progress.

For who ?
Students at the high school graduation level, as well as first-year Bachelor students at HEC or EPFL, including for summer catch-up courses.

In which subjects?
Mathematics (linear algebra, analysis) and physics.

My experience
I have been tutoring for eight years. I have worked with students with very diverse profiles: ADHD, hyperactivity, oppositional defiant disorder, autism spectrum disorder, giftedness, and even students experiencing academic difficulties. Each student is different, and I adapt to their needs to offer truly personalized support.

Why these courses?
My goal is not just to prepare for the upcoming exam, but to build a solid study method with the student for the rest of their academic journey. Truly understanding, regaining confidence, and approaching assessments with composure: that's what I aim for with each student.

Or ?
I travel to Pully, Lutry, Morges, Ecublens, St-Sulpice, Lausanne and surrounding areas. As I do not have a car, the price may vary depending on the distance; I will travel to you for a 1.5-hour lesson.

Feel free to contact me to discuss your child's needs and arrange a first lesson! :)

A student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor's degree - in the IC (computer science) faculty.

I have been giving private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences since the summer of 2021, I completed a 3-month internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and basic research in neuroscience. I was also accepted-collée (admitted to the competition but the quota places granted limited my entry into medical school) after having completed a national competition that was both selective and elitist to integrate a faculty of medicine: the first year common to health studies. Very difficult in math, physics, organic chemistry and biology.

I was subsequently very involved in collaborative and associative projects to train students for the medical competition, in the first year. I like teaching, making people understand and seeing this moment of light on the student's face for whom everything becomes clear!

***** Procedure during the SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS (July and August)
for those who want to get AHEAD,
review their BASICS or simply
get back into the swing of things! *****

I have also been giving private lessons in mathematics and physics for 8th grade students at the gymnasium or in preparation for their maturity for 6 years. Many of my students have an ADHD profile, and I always enjoy adapting to the needs of each person, maintaining DYNAMICS in the course and doing interactive exercises so that the knowledge sinks in better. ..

Dynamic, I am myself a studious and serious student. I have gone through the challenges and stress of exams and competitions many times. My goal is to give you confidence and provide you with the appropriate method to succeed in your course.

Are you taking your resit exams for the baccalaureate in July or August 2026 after failing in June? Do you want to strengthen one or more subjects before your end-of-summer exams?
That's exactly what I'm proposing!

WHAT WE CAN WORK ON TOGETHER:

-Catching up and catching up on failed chapters
-Review and analysis of the June exam (what went wrong, why, how to correct it)
-Targeted revision with typical maturity-level exercises
-Method: time management, writing, presentation of calculations
-Consolidation before the end-of-summer exams

-> I work with high school students who need targeted, effective and structured support — a real refresher course, exam by exam, concept by concept.

WHO AM I ?
My name is Claire, I am a 3rd year Bachelor student at EPFL (IC Faculty - Computer Science) and I have held a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences since 2021. In 2018, I was admitted to medical school, a very difficult first year covering mathematics, physics, organic chemistry and biology at a very high level of selection, but I decided instead to do EPFL with hindsight on my situation.

I have been giving private lessons since 2018, mainly to high school students, in math and physics. I also have direct experience preparing under pressure for highly selective exams — I know what it's like to have only one chance for a decisive result.

Several of my students have ADHD. I systematically adapt the pace, format, and materials to the individual in front of me.

PRACTICAL DETAILS! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Maximum availability in July, August and September 2026 — fully flexible schedule during the summer.

Home visits are possible from Morges to Pully (variable rate, no car). Lessons are also available at the Rolex Learning Center, the EPFL library (fixed rate).

Feel free to contact me to arrange an initial appointment or ask any questions.
