Half the battle with the humanities is ensuring that good ideas are communicated well- I seek to teach history and support the development of those communication skills to ensure that the pupil's ability is reflected.

If the gap in understanding a topic is much, elementary maths is revised with the student prior to teaching any of the core maths topics.
