Geography is all around us. It is the study of the world we live in; from the vast undiscovered nature, to how human actions leave their impact on the progression of our everyday lives.

Geography is about covering the natural parameters on how different landforms were created and where our precious natural resources come from, how the structure of the earth creates different climates as well as vast different lifeforms.
This was just the physical part of geography.
Geography also covers the human aspect. Meaning how the use of natural resources and selection of strategic locations has to lead to the formation of societies, technological advancements, economic growth, geopolitics, etc.

So, this subject covers both natural sciences (chemistry, physics, math), as well as the social sciences (economics, policymaking)

About Me

My most distinct teaching approach is first trying to learn a bit about yourself to identify the sources of your strengths and the topics you are mostly challenged with, and also your interests (what pieces of information trigger your brain to be able to process information in the most understandable way)

After this first introduction, I use the most relatable examples to associate with the actual taught material. Visual presentations are also provided as they are essential in perceiving information easier.

I focus on helping you finding the answer by yourself by giving you very thorough details beforehand. When one receives the rewarding excitement of finding the solution by themselves, they can create correlations with future information much easier.

My most important characteristic for a successful and fun lesson is mutual understanding and respect.
I can give my uttermost devotion to make sure you receive your expected outcome, as long as you feel comfortable and appreciate the lesson

Education

I have obtained by bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, in University of East Anglia (UEA), Norwich, UK where I received qualifications in several fields relatable to everyday situations related to the environment.
For example, costs and benefits of :

- natural and artificial control of landscapes
- carbon dioxide and climate change
- water collection, treatment, and usage

- atmospheric conditions and meteorology

Experience / Qualifications

4 years teaching Geography in classes 6-12 (ages 12-18) in a private high school.
In these years in every taught class, I made sure to use a visual presentation (images and videos) to portray the information, in order to stimulate understanding.
Also, I encouraged students to trust their critical understanding in order to be able to find the reasons why some things happen the way they do, either naturally or human based.
