My name is Asher, I am an English native speaker born in Canada. I have a lot of experience teaching people correct and most importantly, fluent conversation skills in English. I will help you become more confident and free to express yourself within the vocabulary that you require and desire to have. I believe in a positive playful approach to language that allows for more flow during a conversation. I think that correct use of grammar will come through joyful practice and within a real and interesting conversation between us. I am well educated in many different subjects and can find interest in most things which means that we are likely to have a very flowing conversation. This will, with no doubt, facilitate the learning process. I am fluent as well in French and Swedish.

About Me

I am a married 36 year old artist and English teacher. English and Hebrew are my two mother tongues. Growing up bilingual gave me an analytical perspective on the English language besides the natural one of native speakers. This means that I am able to understand as well the difficulties of learning this language by others. I have spent many many hours helping people and encouraging them to speak English with me, both in formal and informal settings. I have a lot of practice and talent in getting a good conversation going which is, in my opinion, the most important aspect of English conversation skills. I am a very curious and attentive listener which means that you will be confident in the flow of our conversation. I love humor and this is usually the mood in which my private lessons are held. I believe taking a light approach to language learning, relieves the stress that students might have and allows them easier access to what they already know of in the English language.
