CUSTOMIZED PIANO LESSONS: Learn theory through practice through pieces of your choice.
From 53.55 £ /h
I offer tailor-made support, defined entirely according to the student's desires and objectives and in all styles (Pop, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Classical...)
My teaching is based around three fundamental axes:
- The development of the (musical) ear
- The transmission of practical and theoretical tools to expand the possibilities and freedom of play
- The development of curiosity and fun with the instrument
I like to get my students to push their limits by approaching learning in the form of games and small challenges. It is important for me that the student feels in an environment of exchange and without pressure. To do this, my sense of humor and listening will be used without moderation. ;)

Education
I started classical piano at the age of 7 with private teachers.
I entered the academy at the age of 8. I did my entire education there and at the same time I became interested in jazz, initially listening to Ray Charles.
I was very attached to the music but also to the spirit of jazz. So I did a year of preparation at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp, just after high school. I took the conservatory entrance exam after that, which I failed 2x. But I refused this double failure so I continued private lessons throughout the summer with a former conservatory student. After that I applied and was accepted then I did my 5 years of conservatory and I graduated with distinction. Moral of the story? Persist for what makes us tick. In my case it's music :)
