Learn Physics, Chemistry and Maths from an Astrophysicist

I am resident of Founex and I work as a PhD researcher in Astrophysics at the Geneva Observatory in Versoix. I have 2 years of teaching experience in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Leeds, UK along with 1 year of private tutoring in Chemistry.

To get a firm grasp on a difficult topic, I believe it is essential to start with the basics and then to work towards the core of the problem. A curriculum focused on independent thinking and steady practise will be taught to the student. Whether the goal is to prepare for an exam or homework; lessons will be altered to match the individual's needs. Mock Test/Exams will be conducted at regular intervals.

I hope to share my excitement and passion for natural sciences and mathematics with the students in an open and 'there is no such thing as a difficult problem' way!

I am available to teach students at my home in Founex or travel to location a few kilometers around Founex or Coppet. I am also available to teach via zoom or skype.

I am located near Geneva, Switzerland and I offer Chinese and Math lessons. Since 2016, I have been providing tutoring services to school students and adults on a weekly basis. I have over 4 years of experience teaching math to international students, ranging from primary school to high school, using English as the medium of instruction. First of all, my math lessons are aimed at all primary and secondary school students.

The goal of my course is for the student to learn in the best possible way, while having fun. Especially for my elementary school students, I would like to offer some small games to help them memorize and learn more easily. Then, in general, it is important for me to adapt my method and techniques to the student's needs and their way of working. In math, it is very important to practice and repeat the exercises several times so that it becomes systematic.

The first step is to identify my students' weaknesses, and then work on them and reinforce those areas that aren't very clear. This way, we'll move forward efficiently and in the right direction from the start.

Finally, before each class, I plan to prepare and review the chapter I'm going to teach. Then, at the end of each chapter, I usually write a summary sheet summarizing the key concepts and potential pitfalls to avoid.
