About Me

My name is Alessia, I have lived in Fribourg for 3 years now but I was born and raised in Ticino (Mendrisio). I have Italians and Bulgarian origins. I attended scientific high school (biology and chemistry) and then spent a 6-month period in Berlin as an au-pair.
I am about to finish a bachelor's degree in psychology and would then like to do a master's degree in clinical or child psychology.
I really enjoy reading and Italian literature is one of my biggest passions.
I have been doing gymnastics for about 13 years and still practice it, I love drawing and gardening.
I would like to provide classes in Italian, English, psychology (if there is a possibility) and biology (or science as far as middle school is concerned). I really enjoy being in contact with people (of all ages) and in particular with children and teens. in the past I have given remedial classes to middle school kids every week (of different subjects: history, science, Italian, French and German ) and I really enjoyed being able to help them and at the same time learn something from them in my turn.
I am a sunny and strict person, and I am looking forward to being able to start this experience.
