Hello, I'm Maher, I live in Gaziantep, Turkey. I have a bachelor degree in English literature and CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge Institute- Istanbul.
I teach Arabic and English languages for any level as well as teaching translation for advanced students.
My General and Intensive courses of English and Arabic languages are designed to help you make rapid progress in the foreign language you choose to learn.

After initial testing, discussing the goals with you I will prepare a tailored course plan to help you achieve your target of learning a second language.
As for English classes, they are tailored to your needs- general English lessons, business English or exam preparation classes (IELTS).
Lessons can focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking or pronunciation or on any other specific that you want to improve in your second language.
As for the Arabic classes, I teach small groups and individuals. I taught individuals from Europe, UK and the united states.
My course is mainly to support non-Arabic speakers and to help them develop conversation, listening, writing and reading skills.
My teaching method is interactive. I have experience in teaching people from different backgrounds in the following subjects:
English (Beginner – intermediate students)
Standard Arabic: Writing, Speaking, Reading
Spoken/colloquial Arabic: Writing, Speaking, Reading

For business English we may use the Pearson Business English MARKET LEADER Course books or we may decide on different course depending on the need.
I taught business skill to 380 students in Turkey (SPARK Organization Business English project in Gaziantep).
For Arabic language materials, we can work on two types of curriculums depending on the learner’s target. Both curricula are specialized for non-Arabic speakers.
Teaching materials can be discussed and decided according to your needs and the topics of your interest.

Experience / Qualifications

• Taught 380 students business skills.
• taught 20 foreigners Arabic language from scratch.
• Led and managed the Business English Project under the Spark Business English scholarship project, modelling best practice in English teaching, implementation of curriculum (Adults teaching), monitoring achievement of students and effectiveness of teachers, dealing with all operational, and record keeping requirements and ensuring fair and effective assessment procedures.
• Actively worked with members of the English department in planning a pathway for the professional learning needs of the Institute.
• Provided lessons in Business English to students in creative manners to help them remembers topics without any problems.
• Created favourable learning environment and motivating students to learn English.
• Ensured that all members of the department are familiar with its aims and objectives.
