About Me
Davide was born in Enna in 1991. He began his musical studies at the age of six at the School of Music of the "Antonino Giunta" orchestra of Calascibetta. He won the first soloist title at the Calascibetta regional music competition in 2009, playing the trombone of the euphonium and the piano.
Education
In 2011 he graduated in trombone at the conservatory "V. Bellini" of Catania in the class of Camillo Pavone. He graduated with the jury's congratulations in 2015 at the Aosta Valley Conservatory in the trombone class of Stefano Viola, then in 2017 he continued his master's degree in musical performance, specialization orchestra, at the Geneva High School of Music. in Andrea Bandini's trombone class, in which he gets his HES-SO award.
Experience / Qualifications
He completed his orchestral training in the orchestra "Accademia Teatro alla Scala di Milano" (2013-2015) and as a trainee in the orchestra of the Suisse Romande de Genève (2016/2017). In 2015 he performs at the Ravello Festival in Naples under the direction of Susanna Malkki as first trombone and he participates in the Italian tour of the orchestra "Accademia Teatro alla Scala di Milano" which occurs in the fifth Symphony of Gustav Mahler at the theaters "Teatro Dal Verme di Milano", "Teatro Massimo di Palermo" and "Teatro San Carlo di Napoli", under the direction of the internationally renowned conductor Fabio Luisi.
