Mastering English and Spanish at a professional level, I am able to help you improve your understanding, writing or speaking in these two languages. I can also intervene for help in French because it is my mother tongue.

The objective of this course will be to learn Spanish grammar and to learn to chat in Spanish, working on pronunciation and diversifying your vocabulary. It will be possible to help students with their homework or to give them support lessons on the topics they are studying.

In order to study at best, I base myself on already defined lessons, I help the student to acquire good notions and I offer him additional practice exercises. In tongues, the main thing is to practice, so I also organize speaking exercises.

To help with homework for students I am very analytical. I was well trained in Math when I studied Engineering. For the English and Spanish course I will always speak in the languages that I am learning and if there is any doubt we could speak in French. I will give homework to do.

Having lived a long stay in the Andes, I learned a lot about the indigenous Andean culture (especially Ecuadorian) and would be delighted to share a little bit of knowing about the students wishing it; this can give the course a double aspect since a double discovery. I advocate language learning through oral expression, which I focus on in my classes, nevertheless a good grasp of grammar and spelling is necessary, I propose various exercise to practice them.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years and I have worked in several institutes and embassies as a teacher and cultural bridge. I am currently living in Berlin where I am developing a personal project and working as a teacher online and in face-to-face classes. Normally I am interested in generating a creative bond with my students and that is why I work with many of them for relatively long periods of time. In the classes I am interested in having a solid grammar structure but the emphasis is on conversation. In this way I feel that a rich and interesting interaction is generated where, honestly, I myself learn from my students‘ experiences and points of view. I am convinced, as a language learner myself, that learning a language is not simply a tool for communication. I feel that to learn another language is to open oneself to another code or way of thinking and perceiving the world. For example, Romance languages (Spanish, Italian, French, etc.) think and feel the world in a different way than Germanic languages (English, German, etc.) I am fascinated by these differences and similarities. Traveling in Japan, I could only admire the beauty of how we represent the world through our language.
