Russian is a wonderful language, which everyone can enjoy learning. My name is Alexander and I am a native Russian speaker, who has over five years of experience in teaching, four years of Russian-English interpretation and translation practice, and a great eagerness to apply all this experience to teach you in the most fun and efficient way! I specialize in creating a very friendly and open environment that benefits the student and stimulates not just learn grammar and vocabulary, but also apply it. The classes are organised according to your needs and tailored to achieve your personal and educational goals in shortest time, keeping good balance between being too easy and too hard.

For classes in person you need only your wits and a notebook, and for on-line classes you are expected to have a computer, camera, headphones, and a mike (wits would still be very useful though:) )

About Me

I am a native Russian speaker, who has a great experience of teaching, translating, and intercultural communications. Mostly I have been teaching teenagers and young adults (up to 40 years old). I really enjoy the education process and amazing feeling when your students are making progress. This truly feels me with enthusiasm and happiness:)

As a teacher/tutor, I am an open-minded, easy-going, yet disciplined person, who strives for achieving set goals. I believe routine is harmful for education process and a student's motivation, that is why I try to create a variety of tasks using various techniques and methods in order to never make a student bored.

Education

I have a bachelor's in education from Kazakh-American Free University, master's in translation studies. Additionally I have spent I semester abroad in the USA. Currently I study Business at Maastricht University, because I want to open education-related business in the future.

Experience / Qualifications

Self-Employed Teacher/Tutor:
• Organized individual language tutoring (English and Russian),

Teacher Intern in Public School:
• conducted classes in 7-11 grades,

Russian-English Interpreter:
Translated communications for business people from Switzerland visiting East Kazakhstan during their negotiation with local government representatives and entrepreneurs aiming to create international touristic company. Interpreted for Korean medical staff on their mission to Kazakhstan.
