I am an expat have been living in the Netherlands since 2018 January. I have studied my Bachelors in Istanbul and master degree in Vrije University Amsterdam. I have worked as a teacher in a private high school in Istanbul. I am currently working as a Turkish language teacher in the Netherlands. I have a lot of young and children students who are learning Turkish with me. Sometimes I make playgroups by pairing some children. In this way, these children use Turkish language in the social environment by playing games with other children who have same language level.
I am an experienced, enthusiastic and focused teacher who is totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of children and young people at all times. I am passionate about giving young students the best possible education in life and enjoy working with private lessons. Using different teaching techniques I can help you for using your language actively. I am a native Turkish speaker, we can study by speaking Turkish and English. We can study in your own place and my place in Haarlem. My lectures contain some homeworks that help your language level improve. Let's take a lesson and get to know each other!

About Me

I have been living in the Netherlands since 2018 January. Before moving to the Netherlands I was living and working in Istanbul. After graduation from my Bachelors (in faculty of education) I have worked as a teacher in Istanbul. After coming to the Netherlands, I studied a master programme in Vrije University Amsterdam. And I am currently working as a language teacher in the Netherlands.

I have been studying/researching how languages work in the brain and how people gain langauge skills. In my classes, I put these knowledge in practice and try to create the best learning environment for my clients.

Merhaba! I am an enthusiastic teacher who has been teaching Turkish for foreigners and children whose native language is Turkish but need to improve it. Having experience with both teenagers and adults, I specialize in tutoring Turkish based on four skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.

I plan my lessons regarding the student's needs and goals. In my lessons, I prefer using different teaching coursebooks and authentic resources (e.g. online articles, newspapers, magazines).

Since I have studied in different disciplines such as language teaching, literature, and communication sciences, I could promise various lesson contents in each lesson to keep you excited during your learning process.

Hi,

I am a native Turkish speaker, musician, and music teacher from the lovely city of Amsterdam. I am still studying Jazz trumpet at the Amsterdam Conservatory since 2014.

My mother tongue is Turkish and thanks to my international studies, I can speak English fluently and am currently learning Dutch. I already had a few experiences teaching Turkish to my close international friends and I continue teaching in a more professional manner.

First of all, Turkish might seem a bit difficult to learn, but don't be afraid. I have seen that with my students, it gets easier along the way, and the more you learn the more you feel mesmerized by the richness and beauty of it. You would be surprised when you realize how you are progressing in a short time. As a music teacher, I have a number of skills that might help you with learning a language as well. The Turkish language with its Latin script is the perfect key to opening up the Middle East culture and even further-flung eastern lands and languages.

The lessons will be specialized to your aims in a fun and realistic way. In my teaching; everything we learn, we must also use in our conversations. We will increase all your skills in listening, speech, conversation, reading, and comprehension.

I am half English and half Turkish I moved to the Netherlands few years ago. And I would like to teach Turkish to those who are interested in learning.
