Teaching should always be fun!! Hey!! I am Giannis. I am a Greek jazz drummer and I study in the Royal conservatory of the Hague. In the past, I have taught in private lessons where I try to communicate my love about music to my students as my teachers did for me. Lessons for all levels and ages!! For beginners: - We work on songs that the student wants to learn and we develop the sense of rhythm and the appropriate technique to play the drums. For intermediate level: - We work on getting a sufficient drummer with good tempo, developed vocabulary and wide repertoire.

Hi, I’m Elvis Homan professional drummmer, band leader, composer and teacher who currently resides in Rotterdam where I graduated in University of Arts, Codarts 2017. I Teach drums suitable for anykind of level and minimal age of student not less then 10 years. You can learn any style of music: Rock, Pop, Metal, Jazz, Drum'n'bass, Blues, Latin Rhythms, you name it ! I’m also a member of two jazz projects named Quartzite4tet and Marco Apicella Trio. With those bands we ended up as finalists of Erasmus Jazz Prijs 2016 and winner of the Leiden Jazz Award 2017. Experienced teacher for all ages. In my class, I am teaching students how to speak French like a native speaker. In each class, I will speak French only and no other language (English can be used before or after the class) New vocabulary on a new topic every time. Use pictures and photos to help understand the main topic. Games and daily life situations depending on the level. For more experienced students I will discuss the main expectations and organize the class accordingly.

You learn in addition to technique (the correct (sitting) posture, stick control and the 'rudiments' basic patterns such as the familiar 'roffel' (double-stroke-roll) and the 'paradiddle' - also the importance of counting, dynamics, reading notes and timing After all, you will all need them if you want to continue (with a band or just for yourself). - How long does it take before I become a drummer? Two answers: a few hours, and a lifetime. You will see that you can play nice things in no time, but also that top drummers in the world, such as Phil Collins, Cesar Zuiderwijk, Dave Lombardo or Simon Phillips, learn new things every day (and happy). - Am I too old to start? I am Sofia a 21 years old Italian girl that came to the Hague for a Bachelor in Political Science at Leiden University after studying humanities together with Latin and Ancient Greek in high school. My intention is to give Italian lessons (Speaking, writing, listening skills that you want to improve), since I am mother tongue, English lessons (level C1) (Speaking, writing, listening skills that you want to improve) and tutoring for elementary, middle school and high school students. My English knowledge can be proved by the 13 years I spent studying the language and the year I spent abroad in US, in which I attended and graduated from an American high school. I have had many experiences during the years of high school tutoring students, helping them with school home works, and giving both Italian and English lessons to people of all ages.
