I grew up in New Zealand and lived there for 6 years. Additionally, I received a one-year scholarship to study in the USA, which means I speak English as good as a native speaker. During my final year of high school, taking the International Baccalaureate Program and English B at Higher Level, I received a 7 (highest grade) on my final oral exam and a 7 on my final written exam. I am able to tutor in holding conversations, meaning learning through having discussions with a native speaker. I may also teach literature, the analysis of texts, prepare for exams such as International Baccalaureate, SAT, or basic standardized testing. I believe English is the international language of the world and is a basic tool of the 21st century. However, at times, it may seem complex. I believe teaching through having discussions is the best way to learn.
