Hi everyone! I am a viola player from Belarus. I completeness my bachelor degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and currently doing my masters in HKU Utrechts Conservatorium. As well as playing viola, I have a lot of knowledge about music theory, as it was accompanying me through my entire career.
I would be very happy to share my knowledge with music enthusiasts of all ages and levels.

About Me

My name is Masha and I am a violist who is really passionate about music!
I started learning music at the age of 4 and when I was 6 I started to do my first steps in violin. When I turned 14 I realised that I want to develop myself in viola and started learning this beautiful instrument.
At the age of 18 I moved to The Netherlands (The Hague) to study in class of professor Mikhail Zemtsov.
I play as a soloist, orchestra and chamber music musician. I am open to develop myself in all possible styles of music, but most of the time I specialise in Classical Music.
I am really looking forward to share my musical knowledge and experience with music enthusiasts of all ages and any level!

I am an open teacher and violinist, therefore I like to teach different kinds of music, such as classical, rock, folk, alternative, etc. I am flexible and I like to adapt to the goals of the students. However, I specialize in students with some experience. I can prepare for Conservatory exams as well. Violin/viola privet lessons for all levels and ages!
I am a viola and violin teacher who graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with a specialization in Education, as a three-year minor course as part of the Bachelor of Music. I am currently studying for my master's at Codarts Rotterdam.
I have experience teaching music to kids and teenagers, beginners and advanced levels. Adults are very welcome too! :) We will make music together, I accompany my students with my viola or piano (if any). We will also learn music theory integrated with the instrument class.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces.

My lesson will depend on each student's goal. If you are a student who wants to learn an instrument as a hobby and has never had contact with an instrument before, I will teach you the basics (from holding the violin and bow and playing easy tunes on the violin to teaching how to read notes and rhythms).
If you are a student with years of experience and already know the basics, I can help you with the repertoire you are playing, or give you and prepare new pieces with you, I will help you improve your practice sessions and help you prepare auditions or performances.

I give lessons in English or Portuguese but can also manage to speak Spanish

I offer individual one-to-one violin lessons for any age and level. You can choose between 30, 45, or 60-minute lessons once a week with 40 lessons total in a year. The lessons can be in Koninklijk Conservatorium (Royal Conservatoire) The Hague, online, or at the student's home with an additional transport fee per lesson.

My violin class is open to any genre, from classical to pop. The lessons will be in English, Indonesian, or basic Dutch. There is no need to bring anything for a lesson, but it would be great if you already have your violin, and feel free to bring your previous materials or songs/pieces you have ever learned to the lesson.

When teaching, I focus on diversity and inclusivity. I have taught diverse students from various nationalities, ages, and levels.

For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.
