Whether you don’t have a violin yet, are just starting out, or are already an advanced player, I warmly welcome you to my studio. During my seven years living in London, I taught around 30 students from kids to adult with warm care and dedication.
I came to the Netherlands two years ago to focus on my early music studies, and have just finished my second master in the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Distinction.  I would like to share my love towards music through violin learning, and hope you will have enjoy our exploration together as much as I do!
I grew up with the Suzuki books and find that they contain many wonderful gems. In principle, I would like to follow those textbooks. However, if you have other preferences or wishes, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

About Me

I work as a freelance violinist, actively performing as a soloist, in chamber music and orchestras. I engage in a wide range of musical activities including contemporary music and collaborations with traditional Japanese instruments.
Former member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

In class, I always make an effort to understand what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts freely.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.

Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.

I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.

Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score.

Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.

I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training.

Currently students from 4 to 75 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.

My violin classes are open to people of all ages and levels. You may have used to play the violin many years ago and are trying to get back at it but don't know how, you may have just started and you're looking for a teacher that can guide your first steps, you may be looking for regular coaching for an already developed sense of musicality — my classes accommodate all of the above and more.
Most of my pupils are already intermediate students who are dedicated to becoming the young violinists of the future, but that doesn't mean my class isn't for you if you are simply looking for a hobby! Music is about having fun together!

My name is Uma and I am originally from Spain. I have been living in The Hague for the past five years. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education, which allows me to continuously refine my teaching approach.

I hope to share the joy of playing the double bass and the piano through teaching. It is so pleasant to make music and I wish to let more people know about it.

In my lessons, I carefully teach you how to hold the instrument, the shape of your hands, make a good sound, and how to practice to improve, all tailored to your levels. I believe that improving your instruments requires steady practice and patience at first. Even five minutes a day is better than not touching the instruments at all. If you make it a daily habit for a week, two weeks, a month, six months, or a year, your level will definitely improve, you will be able to play the songs you want to play, and you will experience the joy of playing. My name is Sakura. I am a baroque violinist, graduated with a master of early music department at Koninglijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. I play the modern violin, viola, medieval fiddle and keyboard instruments as well.

Started playing the piano at 3 years old and the violin at 7 years old, then went to the music high school and Tokyo university of the Art in Japan. Hi all! My name is Anna Jane, and I am a violinist and teacher based in The Hague. My own musical journey began at age four in Florida with Suzuki training, progressed through classical studies and fiddle jams in Nashville, and culminated in baroque-specific training at The Juilliard School and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Throughout my years of studying and performing, teaching has been a constant and meaningful focus. Some of my teaching experience includes:
