Highschool is a difficult time with a lot of stress and pressure from teachers, parents and peers to do well. I remember the worry about getting good grades to be able to pursue what I wanted to.

My goal is to take some of this stress off by helping you learn and understand the course information. I try to incorporate activity into my lessons to keep it fresh and exciting. I aim to help improve your understanding of the syllabus so that exam days aren't as stressful. I look forward to tutoring you!

About Me

I have various hobbies and interests. I am an avid reader and I am currently reading "The Mermaid and Mrs. Hancock" and will be moving onto "the Picture of Dorian Gray".
I love music with a special appreciation for laid back and old school hip hop however i also have interests in Jazz, Blues, Soul and Funk. I am fairly active, attending the Gym regularly and having participated in various sport throughout my life such as football, tennis, rowing, boxing, field hocky and cycling. I hope to make your experience enjoyable if i get the opportunity to tutor you!

Education

I am currently completing my 4th year at the Hague University of Applied Sciences in the International and European Law program. After this year I will have completed my Bachelors in Law and I will be pursuing a Masters in Public International Law at the University of Maastricht after the completion of my Bachelors. I have obtained an NSC (equivalent to A levels) in the following subjects: English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Life Orientation.

Experience / Qualifications

Being the first born child in my family i have a lot of younger cousins and siblings. I was always the one that used to help them with their homework and schoolwork. My brother and 2 cousins have ADHD with one of them having a mild form of aspergers. Due to this i have experience dealing with children with different charactistics and unique methods of thinking. I try and cater my lessons so they dont feel tedious often trying to make jokes and use activities to learn. however, if you believe a stricter more down to earth approach would work better for yourself or your children this can also be implemented.

So far I've spent a large amount of time teaching my younger sister the basics of mathematics as well as science and languages.
I want to tutor people because it gives me an opportunity to help them in a way that a teacher could not. For me, it is very enjoyable to work with students of all ages that would like to learn. When I was younger, my grandfather used to help me, and I would like to pass that feeling on.
During my studies I've spent some time helping younger students in my programmer(IB) with their studies.
All though I was born and raised in Bulgaria, I have spent 7 years living in Austria in an English speaking environment, due to that, I speak fluent British English, as well as mother-tongue level Bulgarian and a very good German.
