For children who are fluent English speakers, tutoring can be given to further excel in particular areas. Subjects that interest the student such as science, history or world topics can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge. Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I explain the grammar by giving you the rules and examples from everyday life and from pop music.
We will make exercises from your own workbook to see if you understand it and you can learn from mistakes so that you don't make them again on your test.
We will also practice reading texts from old exams because that will be your final exam later on.

My name is Louis, I am a 23 years old and am a native English speaker. Before The Netherlands, I have lived in the UK for 16+ years; all of my school education has been in the English taught British school system. This has helped clients in particular, with children in a British school here.

I have designed my classes with the aim of building the basic skills required in holding conversations, succeeding in an English speaking environment but also teaching students who have an advanced level but require extra help (often with the technical side, for example the rules surrounding tenses and other grammatical points).

In English speaking, we usually don't say the word "must". Must is very formal and uncommon unless you're talking about rules ("Passengers must check in and out") or making a confident guess ("You must be Tom!"). Otherwise, must is very old fashioned. Instead, we say "have to" or "need to". In 1965, the Queen said "I must go to the lavatory". Everyone in the 21st century says "I have to go to the toilet."
