About Me

As a university student, my passions for teaching, numbers, and sociology have shaped my academic journey. I’ve always loved exploring mathematical concepts, finding joy in the way numbers can explain so much about the world around us. This fascination has led me to tutor younger students, helping them grasp difficult math topics and discover the satisfaction of solving problems.
Alongside my love for math, I’ve developed a keen interest in sociology. Understanding the complexities of society and human behavior complements my mathematical skills and broadens my perspective. I enjoy discussing how numbers can reveal trends in social issues and contribute to a better understanding of our communities.
On a lighter note, I've also been playing the saxophone for five years! It’s a fun hobby that adds a creative outlet to my life. This class is for children from lower years, all subjects are taught up to year 9 (if you would like GCSE level please have a look at my other class). My goal is to keep students challenged and interested in their work, but not overwhelmed. I can assign homework after every lesson if the child and parent would like this. I provide periodic progress reports making sure the parents/carers are involved in the learning of the child and to track their progress too.
