Vincent
Cellular and human biology to better assimilate the action of natural medicines
Better understand the mode of action of natural medicines through cell biology, biophysics, biochemistry, bioenergy, electro-magnetic, and nano-hydrology, particle physics, scale waves, acoustics, etc. - online and face-to-face in Geneva and its surroundings. Assistance to students in molecular medicine. Teaching methods: • Online course • Individual or small group lessons (maximum 10 students) • In face-to-face mode in Geneva (in accordance with the rules of distance) • Practical exercises Typical course of a course: I follow the thread of my interactive course material, illustrating with examples (diagrams, videos). I systematically deepen and clarify the links with anatomy, physiology, pathology and parasitology. But above all, I try to highlight the action of alternative therapies (acupuncture, homeopathy, reflexology, etc.) And, as I am an enthusiast, with the utterance rich in verb and gesture - there is therefore little risk of getting bored. Approximately every 25 minutes, I engage in a dialogue with the student, to take the pulse of the assimilation of the material. Between lessons, the student is invited to complete the interactive exercises online. In addition, I invest myself fully and support the student in his journey. Who are my courses for: Those who are oriented towards the practice of natural medicines. People who seek to understand the action of natural therapies, such as acupuncture, bio-energy, magnetism, both at the molecular, cellular, tissue and systemic level, as well as at the level of the vital field, of the chakras of the bio -photons and Kundalini. Prerequisites: A good level of general knowledge. Basic knowledge of English. A recent model computer connected to the Internet.

Biochemistry, Includes: Test Preparation and Informal Quizzes
I would like to help others gain more knowledge in the different topics of biochemistry. I have been helping unofficially students to have a better understanding of the relevant topics by drawing enzymes, easy-made steps of processes, generating multiple choice small quizzes, etc... Homework will be assigned when necessary and periodic progress reports will be available to all students. Study load will be approximately 2-3 hours a week depending on the level of the student. Basic chemistry introduction will be provided if necessary. Relevant topics to be discussed are: Proteins: composition and structure, Cell Membranes, Channels, Pumps, Receptors, Oxidative Phosphorylation, Glycolysis and Gluconeogenesis, The Citric Acid Cycle, Photosynthesis, Fatty Acid Metabolism, Ketogenesis, RNA Synthesis etc. The student is encouraged to choose the relevant topic they wish to be discussed in each class. For this class a good book for extra assistance is: Biochemistry by Berg et al. (6th edition).

General and Special Chemistry/Biochemistry and Biology.
The secret to learning Chemistry is to know the basics. I can make learning Chemistry much easier for you by teaching you everything you need to know starting from these basics and branching to the many fields of chemistry such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, polymer chemistry, and analytical chemistry. I majored in Chemistry/Biochemistry, so I can also be your Biochemistry or general biology tutor, everything you need to know about proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and vitamins, I can elaborate at a very high level of detail. My session may vary in the level of detail according to the level of my student.

Sunaina
Basic / Advanced Biology and Chemistry using exciting, easy to understand graphical methods
I have a passion for science, specially life science. After having finished my masters degree in Biotechnology and worked as a molecular oncology researcher for 3 years, I now wish to share my passion for this field with budding, curious minds. In this class, based on the requirement of the student, I will focus on basic or advanced life science topics such as-molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and bio analytical techniques. If you are in school and need your basics covered, I can teach basic biology and chemistry in the simplest manner. I can understand these subjects can come off as quite dry to many students, but hopefully my extreme enthusiasm in this field will change that for you. Hope to see you soon.

Genes and chromosomes at intermediate level, Inheritance of acquaired characters from parents to offsprings!
In this class, we will learn the concept of cells chromosomes genes, and the transfer of characters in the form of genes that encode different proteins from one generation to the next. As you know, our body is made up of cells: there are different kinds of cells in the human body performing different functions. Similarly, characters and attributes are transferred from parents to offspring in the form of genes. Genes are present on chromosomes and chromosomes constitute the DNA, so basically you can say chromosomes and DNA are involved in inheritance. DNA is person-specific and also plays a role in parentage. Every gene codes for a specific protein which is then expressed in the form of characters in the new generation having characters combination like height, color, hair, intelligence, eye color, etc., from both parents, so basically the DNA transcribed then is translated by differently tRNAs to form characters in the form of proteins.

Biology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry at university/secondary level
Hey! I provide tutoring at the secondary/university level in: - Mathematics: Analysis, algebra, control theory, etc. - Statistics - Chemistry: Organic, inorganic, analytical, etc. - Biology: Cell biology, biochemistry, ecology, animal and plant science, nano bio (DNA), etc. - Physics: Statics & dynamics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, fluida, etc. Regarding the class itself, everything depends on the student using my services. Here is a typical timeline: 1. STEP 1: I discuss with the student the objective to be achieved (preparing for an exam, etc.), the difficulties he/she is facing, and any course material he/she is using. 2. STEP 2: The classes take place. I myself have always been a very structured learner, which makes my teaching method both structured and comprehensive for the student. Also, my classes are different from traditional teaching in that I ask the student a lot of questions to get them to think about and understand the theory/exercises thoroughly. 3. STEP 3: If requested by the student and/or parents, they will receive progress updates. LOCATION AND LANGUAGE Classes can take place remotely or in person, in Dutch, French, or English. WHO AM I? Final year master student in bioengineering at the KU Leuven, specializing in nanotechnology and so far with an average grade of 85%.
