I am 22 years old from Indonesia, and I am currently studying theoretical physics for my Master's degree at Heidelberg University. I speak (almost) fluent English, but unfortunately not German at the moment (although I am learning :D). I will be understanding in the fact that the language is not the mother tongue of the student's, so don't be shy :)

As someone who is passionate about physics, I can help students to discover the fun in learning physics, that it's definitely not about memorizing the formula. During the lesson, my first goal would be to help students understand the concepts of the topic they are studying. In my attempt to do so, I will try my best to explain the concepts in the most intuitive way possible so that students can easily grasp them. After having understood the concepts, I will guide them on how think about it mathematically, hence arriving at some formulas. Therefore, they will not view the mathematical formulas in physics as simply some maths equation, but rather as something that represents meaning. Then the next obvious steps after this would be to discuss exercise problems, which will further enhance their understanding. But of course the lessons need not follow exactly the above mentioned steps; it can be very flexible and we will find the best method to help the students thrive on the subject.

As a student who studies theoretical physics in the Masters level, I have dealt with some quite advanced level of mathematics, and in the process have picked up several neat tricks. Therefore I am also able to help students who are struggling in mathematics.
