Hello I’m Alessandro D’Anna, drummer from Italy, based in Helsinki and I can offer private drum lesson for jazz, rock, Latin music, pop and more... I’ve toured in my life with Grammy jazz artist as Mark Gross, Joel Holmes, Benito Gonzalez, Essiet Essiet and many more. I’ve been teaching and doing masterclasses of drums all over the world: United States, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Mexico, and more.

My program suits every levels from beginner to Intermediate (I speak fluently English, a bit of Spanish and my native language is Italian).

Master's degree in Classical and Music Pedagogy in the Conservatory of Music in Rome Santa Cecilia.

I’ve been studying drumming for three years with the legendary drummer Gregory Hutchinson and having lessons with drummers such as Victor Lewis, Jeff Ballard, Mark Guiliana, Roberto Gatto, and many more…

I can provide you private drum lessons, that are tailored completely by your own interests, or I can advice you what would be efficient for you to improve, depending on where you stand with your experience and skills. We can together discuss about setting a goal, and start working your way towards it.

You don't have to have previous experience in playing the drums. You can be an absolute beginner, intermediate, or more advanced student. I also teach all ages.
