About Me

I’m Pedro Dantas, a trumpet player from Portugal with a degree and master degree in Classical Performance from the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Finland. With international experience performing with orchestras such as the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Baltic Sea Philharmonic, and the Pori Sinfonietta—where I currently serve as Sub-Principal Trumpet.

I have built a solid artistic path that includes appearances at major events like the BBC Proms and several competition awards. I have worked with renowned trumpet players including Håkan Hardenberger, Gábor Tarkövi, and Mireia Farrés, and was awarded a scholarship from the Yamaha Music Foundation in 2025. As a teacher, I focus on technique, musicality, and motivation, offering lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals.

I can provide you private drum lessons, that are tailored completely by your own interests, or I can advice you what would be efficient for you to improve, depending on where you stand with your experience and skills. We can together discuss about setting a goal, and start working your way towards it.

You don't have to have previous experience in playing the drums. You can be an absolute beginner, intermediate, or more advanced student. I also teach all ages.

Hello! My name is Franziska and I am 23 year old master’s student in classical music (flute) performance at the Sibelius Academy, in Helsinki. I’m currently doing a minor in pedagogical studies as well, which sparked my love and interest for teaching this wonderful instrument, and I wish I can pass my love for it on to you as well!
When it comes to teaching the flute I tend to not only stick to classical music. I am open to any genres that you might be interested in, and I’ll be here to explore your musical interests alongside you!

As a person I’m very extroverted and social, I have a playful and flexible personality and approach to learning and interacting with students.
