Hello! My name is Franziska and I am 23 year old master’s student in classical music (flute) performance at the Sibelius Academy, in Helsinki. I’m currently doing a minor in pedagogical studies as well, which sparked my love and interest for teaching this wonderful instrument, and I wish I can pass my love for it on to you as well!
When it comes to teaching the flute I tend to not only stick to classical music. I am open to any genres that you might be interested in, and I’ll be here to explore your musical interests alongside you!

As a person I’m very extroverted and social, I have a playful and flexible personality and approach to learning and interacting with students. I am also very curious and like to learn and practice together with my students, which generally saying from experience, makes for fun and thoughtful lessons! :)

I provide private piano lessons for all ages, from beginner to intermediate levels.
My lessons are tailored completely by the students interests, or I can advice material and repertoire, that will be efficient for a student to follow.

Any music style or genre is welcome. I have studied mostly classical and jazz music. These things will be discussed with the student by her or his interests!

I have been teaching flute playing since 2016 both privately and in music schools. I teach students of all ages and levels. I offer lessons in Finnish, English and German.

As a music teacher, I aim to encourage my students to find the joy of music and develop into long-term music enthusiasts through student-oriented teaching. I aim for this by creating a happy and encouraging atmosphere in the classes, where students can develop according to their wishes and goals. The lessons also include a lot of music making together.
