I am Ioannis and I am an officially certified math teacher with an inherent passion for teaching the subject.

I have acquired both a Bachelor's (NKUA) and a Master's degree (University of Helsinki) in Mathematics. I have further solidified my status as an officially certified math teacher by completing pedagogical studies (University of Helsinki).

I offer tutoring for high school and university level Mathematics: please contact me with information on what you need help with.

I facilitate online (usually via Zoom) and contact teaching and have significant previous experience in both.

-For online teaching, I use a pen tablet where you can follow my writing without having to spend time coping everything down as I can later share the notes with you. This way you can focus more on understanding!
-For contact teaching, I use the whiteboard that I have.

I am always patient, encourage questions and facilitate in-depth learning. Moreover, I strongly believe that with practice and determination anyone can succeed in Mathematics.

I’m currently a first-year bachelor’s student at the School of Science in Aalto University, where I secured a highly competitive full-tuition scholarship thanks to my SAT score (1540: Math 790, English 750). I’ve been an SAT tutor for over a year now, teaching both group classes and one-on-one sessions. In total, I’ve helped more than 70 students reach their SAT goals.
