About Me
I received my education and training in the UK, at one of the country's top music schools. Since graduating, I've pursued a career in music eduction, with a specialisation in violin and viola.

My aim is to make lessons enjoyable and productive, so that my students come away feeling motivated and inspired. I want to help you achieve your full potential and to have fun along the way!

I have been teaching the violin and viola for over 10 years, and I've been lucky enough to work across the world from Europe to Asia via the Middle East. I care deeply about bringing music to those who wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity and it brings me a lot of joy to know that I've inspired a new generation of musicians.

I hope to hear from you and look forward to helping you on your musical journey!

Christina
About the teacher:
First, Professional. Holding a Master in Music post-graduate degree, the teacher has been teaching piano lessons professionally for 17 years. She has a solid theoretical foundation in music teaching, composition, and piano performance.
Second, a kind attitude with patience, as well as a proper method for different levels of students. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning.
It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life.

About the class:
For beginner students, this class aims at teaching the students basic theory and music composition skill. The teacher will teach step by step, from learning music notes to writing down a melody, including adding chords and accompaniments.
For students with basic music foundation, this class will teach rules, regulations, and other issues in music composition. How to combine different instrument to make a harmony? How to make your tone memorable? Learning music is similar with learning a language. Theoretical foundation is important in music practice.

About the price:
Depending on the distance. If the travel time is less than half an hour to the students’ home, the price will be the same as at the teacher’s home.

Julie
Miss Julie's musical journey exemplifies dedication, a heartfelt passion for performance and education. Beginning her violin playing at the age of six, she built a solid foundation based in technical mastery and musicality. Her early commitment blossomed as she pursued advanced studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she refined her musical skills under the guidance of Francesca Barritt and Jeremy Isaac. Her academic pursuits were marked by distinction—achieving both Master of Music with Merit and Bachelor degree with Honours, each accompanied by scholarships major in violin performance.

Throughout her studies, Miss Julie actively engaged in orchestral and chamber music settings under conductor Rebecca Miller’s leadership, performing with notable ensembles such as the Royal Holloway Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and sharing the stage with the London Mozart Players. These experiences not only enriched her orchestral skills but also deepened her understanding of collaborative musicianship.

Beyond performance, Miss Julie passionately involves in music education. She is a qualified educator with PGDE from the University of Hong Kong, committed to nurturing the new generation. Her students are from both prestigious international and local schools in Hong Kong, and through her teaching, she aims to instill a love of music, creative expression, and individual style. Her ultimate goal is to inspire her students to find joy in their musical journeys, build up confidence and originality that will serve them well in life beyond musical performance.
