This class is designed for beginners who want to learn Kurdish in a clear, supportive, and practical way.

As a native Kurdish speaker with teaching experience, I focus on helping students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Lessons are adapted to each student’s level, pace, and goals.

We will work on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, everyday phrases, and simple conversations used in real-life situations. Whether you are learning Kurdish for heritage, family communication, travel, or personal interest, this class will help you progress step by step in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
I teach Kurdish in the Sorani dialect. I can also help students understand differences between Sorani and other Kurdish dialects.

About Me

Hello, my name is Darsan. I am a native Kurdish speaker and I teach Kurdish in the Sorani dialect. I have teaching experience and formal training in teaching methodology.

My lessons are friendly, structured, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, using practical examples from everyday life.

I mainly teach Sorani Kurdish, but I can also help students understand differences between Sorani and other Kurdish dialects. Whether you are learning Kurdish for heritage, family communication, travel, or personal interest, I aim to make learning enjoyable and effective

Education

MSc in Computer Science (Games Programming), University of Hull.

Completed postgraduate studies with a strong focus on problem solving, structured thinking, and communication skills. My academic background supports my ability to plan lessons clearly, explain concepts effectively, and adapt teaching to different learners.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, University of Human Development.
