About Me

My name is Yiannis, i am 29 years old from Limassol / Cyprus. I have been involved with music as a student from the age of 7 and am so glad and grateful that theres always space for new information and techniques! My main instrument is the electric guitar, i prefer finger-style approach and i always go for a sweet warm tone on my amplifiers. I love playing jazz music and joining jam sessions. I find this combination a great way to communicate with musicians and the audience. Through my personal projects i work around electric guitar and live electronics through analogue or digital platforms. My interest in electronic music provoked me to study and graduate my second diploma on sound engineering in digital media.

I can teach you a lot to do with the acoustic, in regards to fingerpicking, open chords, alternate tunings, etc. We'll identify which exercises you'll need to practice to get to the spot you want, and I'll provide you with many things to take home and practice on your own. My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar.
My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician.
We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method.
As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities.
Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun.
