I will encourage you to get clear goals, support you in finding a good practice rhythm. We will decide together what pieces you can approach, depending on your tastes and your skills. I will teach you music theory and you might need to prepare a homework for each lesson. My goal is making you to be able to learn and play a piece by yourself in the shortest time possible.
I gladly teach beginners and advanced, students preparing for auditioning to conservatoire are welcome as well.
I teach on a grand piano (Ixelles) or I can come to your place (we need to discuss it).

I am a concert pianist, I've got my first diploma in Romania. I studied also in Austria (Salzburg) and in Switzerland (Zürich). I play in different chamber music groups, I accompany and I teach piano.

About Me

I love to teach motivated students. For me it is not very important if they have already knowledge or developed skills on the piano. I appreciate the desire to evolve and grow, more than anything else. I am a friendly and patient teacher and I don't like to put my students under stress or pressure. As a teacher it is important to guide the student, to help him/her find an own way. My goal is to make the student independent.

I am a concert pianist with a degree in piano and pedagogy from the Zurich Conservatory. I am not only passionate about music but also about teaching, which is my vocation.
I teach all levels and ages and all styles of music. I do not rely on a single method but on several methodological works. This allows me to offer students a greater variety of pieces, especially for beginner levels, and to choose the most suitable piece that will best help the student progress.
I take into consideration my students' musical tastes and arrange their favorite pieces so that they are accessible to them. Music is and should remain a pleasure.
Music theory is only covered when necessary, but it is possible to go into more depth if the student wishes.

What do people expect from a good Music School?

Decent education:

From the outset, the Wonderful World Music School opted for an offer based on highly qualified qualified teachers who could be engaged and not vice versa. This immediately guarantees that the program (the same as the official part-time music education and the Municipal Conservatories) is followed in a proper manner.
Personal assistance:

Musicschool Wonderful World chose a smart way of coaching. In addition to individual lessons, where the student gets all the attention, they consciously choose to keep the classroom lessons small. In this way, lessons can also be given in a quasi-individual way. This results in a more intensive form of teaching, which requires fewer lessons than in official part-time music education to process the same subject material.
We offer great flexibility in choice of teaching hours package. Each pupil has the choice to take lessons for 1/2 hour or one hour (or more) per week. 1 h. lesson every 14 days is also possible.
We work with lessons of 10 or 30 lessons. The pupil can therefore jump in at any time of the year.
And a great flexibility at the time of the lesson. We try, if pupils follow an instrument next to the class lessons, to place them as much as possible. Also, as far as possible, the optimal lesson time is always sought for the pupil. Something that is impossible in official part-time music education.
Every year we organize lectures, exams and student concerts, such as in official part-time music education. At the annual proclamation we award diplomas, followed by a pleasant dinner and / or garden party.

The prices of the Wonderful World Music School are very competitive. The official part-time music education has since September significantly increased its prices for adults, so that the gap with our private education is still very small. In addition, you can spread the payment of your registration fee by choosing lessons per 10 (ie by paying the fee per school year in 3 installments).

The lesson dates of the class lessons are given in the beginning of September for the entire school year.
We also organize summer internships with renowned musicians with international allure and charisma.

Students can park their bikes on our inner courtyard. There are also 3 Vinci-Parks within walking distance. The ideal location!
Route:

By train: Our location is a 20-minute walk from Mechelen station in the shadow of the Sint-Rombouts cathedral and within walking distance of the Grote Markt.
By car: Nearest car park, Cathedral or Grote Markt, both less than 100 meters away.
At 50 meters from Huis De Min in the Kanunnik De Deckerstraat a large parking lot is provided. It costs 2.40 EUR / 2 hours. Please note: you may park for a maximum of 2 hours (valid from Mon - Sat from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm).

I am a student teacher of music education and project art subjects. I myself graduated in solfège and took piano lessons for 3 years. After 3 years of taking lessons at the academy, I continued to learn to play the piano.

Teaching and music are my passion. When I teach I try to do it in the most fun and fastest way. I want to see my students evolve as quickly as possible. The lessons I give always start from practice, as this is the easiest way to process the theory. I always make the lessons myself and make them at the level of my students. Every now and then I work with a book, but I certainly don't rely on it.

The first lesson will be an introductory lesson, in which I will look at what you can already do, what you expect from the lessons and what exactly you want to learn. Then we will start at a good pace.
I prefer to teach at home. Lessons cannot take place at my home. I have the most experience with people who have little or no experience. I also prefer this because it allows me to teach directly in my own way. Age doesn't matter to me. You are never too old for music!
