About Me

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with illustrious teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me a passion for sharing and communication (a typically Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. I use a method according to the student: what is always central is the sound and the transmission of an emotion, even with a simple piece or a study. Technique and posture are also important in my teaching, and I strive to find, for each student and step by step, a way of playing that is as healthy as possible.
Also pursuing activities as a professional musician, I nevertheless have at heart that learning and pedagogy are part of my daily life, and I envisage with both a lot of seriousness and a lot of pleasure the work with the students and the transmission of musical knowledge.

Gabriele born in Padua in 1995, graduated with highest honors at the "A. Steffani" Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto where he also obtained the "Zambon" prize in 2017 as best student.
Settled in Belgium since 2017, between 2019 and 2021 he obtained the “Master in violin” and the “Master specialized in violin” with Grand Distinction, by studying at the Royal Conservatory of Mons Arts2 and at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Shirly Laub, Eliot Lawson, Wibert Aerts and Frederic d'Ursel.

Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq.
He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente.

Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ”

I'm Giorgos and i teach Lute and Classical guitar!
I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have studied and have my Degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, both in Classical Guitar as well as Historical Plucked instruments.

I regularly perform in concert halls with orchestras and groups all around Europe, perform with my own ensembles based in Brussels and Italy, and enjoy an active teaching schedule.

All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.

The course method, inspired by the Agostini school (French method used in French and Belgian academies and conservatories) is divided between technique and drums. At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements.

-> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student.
-> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor.

The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages.

I'm ENERVIU, a DJ and music curator based in Brussels. My sound ranges from UK club music like garage, bass, dub, and breaks to house, jazz, and funk selections. I play in various settings, from clubs to private events, and I also share my passion through videos about the history of musical genres.

I offer a four-session introductory course to DJing, tailored to your level and tastes.
My goal: to give you the basics to become independent behind the decks, develop your selection, and build a world that reflects your personality. Each session combines explanations, listening, and practical application.

**Session 1 — Discover DJing and develop your listening skills**

We will explore the role of the DJ and the different facets of their practice: club, radio, bar, or private event. We will discuss musical research, selection, and what gives a set its identity.

Through listening, you will learn to recognize tempo, beats, measures, and musical phrases, as well as identify introductions, breaks, and repeats. These fundamentals will allow you to better understand the energy of a piece and the appropriate moments for a transition.

**Session 2 — Understanding Turntables and the Mixing Console**

We will discover the equipment and its essential controls: playback, cue, jog, tempo adjustment, faders, gain and equalization.

I'm ENERVIU, a DJ and music curator based in Brussels. My musical world spans club sounds UK garage, bass, dub and breaks alongside house, jazz and funk selections. I play in settings ranging from clubs to private events, and I also share my passion through videos exploring the history of music genres.

I offer a **four-session introduction to DJing**, tailored to your level and musical tastes. My goal is to help you feel confident behind the decks, develop your selections and build a musical identity of your own. Each session combines explanations, listening and hands-on practice.

**Session 1 — Discover DJing and develop your listening skills**

We'll explore the role of a DJ across different settings, including clubs, radio, bars and private events. We'll discuss how to discover music, select tracks and give a set its own identity.

Through listening exercises, you'll learn to identify tempo, beats, bars and musical phrases, as well as intros, breakdowns and drops. These foundations will help you understand a track's energy and recognize suitable moments for a transition.

**Session 2 — Get to know the decks and mix**

We'll explore the equipment and its essential controls: play, cue, jog wheels, tempo adjustment, faders, gain and EQ.

You'll learn how to cue tracks in your headphones, manage audio levels and synchronize two tracks. We'll practice beatmatching by ear and explore the tools available to support it, helping you understand your actions and build confidence.

**Session 3 — Prepare your music with Rekordbox**

We'll use Rekordbox to import your tracks, organize your library and create playlists that support the sets you want to play.

You'll learn to read waveforms, check tempo and beatgrids, and set useful markers with Memory Cues and Hot Cues. We'll introduce musical keys as a selection tool and prepare a USB drive compatible with the equipment you'll be using.

**Session 4 — Practice and build your first mix**

We'll bring everything together to mix several tracks, working on beatmatching, phrase alignment and transitions using volume controls and EQ.

We'll also explore how to shape a set: establish a mood, choose the next track, develop the energy and give the music room to breathe. You'll perform a short mix, which we'll listen back to together to identify your strengths and areas to develop.

We'll finish with practical habits for your first performance: preparing your music, keeping a backup and checking the venue's technical setup.

Throughout the course, we'll build on the music you love to sharpen your listening skills, develop your own taste and enjoy sharing it with others.

**Session 5 — Prepare for your first gig and present yourself as a DJ**

We'll explore how to take your first steps towards playing in public. You'll learn how to approach venues and promoters, share a relevant demo mix and communicate clearly about your availability, fees and technical needs.

We'll cover the essentials of a short artist bio, a press kit and a technical rider. Drawing on my experience across club and private events, we'll discuss how to adapt your proposal to different settings while staying true to your musical identity.

To finish, we'll put together a personal action plan: what to practice next, which mix to record and how to identify suitable opportunities for your first gigs.
