The course method, inspired by the Agostini school (French method used in French and Belgian academies and conservatories) is divided between technique and drums. At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements.

-> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student.
-> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor.

The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages.

=> Particular attention is paid to the movements and their correct application, to the total independence of the limbs and finally to an understanding of the rhythm and its theory. My main goal is to give the student complete control behind the drums and skills to be able to self-learn any piece in any musical style. 1 hour of weekly lessons are never enough, they should only be used to fuel the passion that will make you play at home more and more.

On demand or for advancs students:
- I am very passionate about the study of South American rhythms. Due to their complexity, apart from the samba and Baïon ostinatos, they are not included in the program before the advanced level. They can be at the request of the student.
- I am also specialized in metal (musical style) and double pedal. The latter is not included in the program unless requested by the student. The double pedal courses are based on the methodology of Virgil Donati.

Technique:
* Moeller technique (the 'whipping motion' - the Free stroke -Full/Half/Low stroke - accepting the rebound - its application etc.)
* Snare rudiments and their applications through reading systems
* Readings of scores and exercises for the snare drum
* Speed drills
* Military marches
* Control of the different subdivisions (quarter notes - eighth notes - triplets - sixteenth notes - quintuplets - sextuplets - triple eighth notes - nonolets etc.)
* Displacement of accents and polyrhythms
* On request, double pedal technique (application of the Moeller to the double pedal as well as everything listed above but with the feet)

Drums:
* Bass drum reading and independance
* Snare drum reading and independance
* Applications of ghost notes
* The 16 sixteenth-notes ostinatos
* Jazz readings and independence
* Binary and ternary readings
* Coordination and movements of both feet
* Dynamics on the instrument
* Creation of fills and original drum grooves
* On request, application of the double pedal
* On request or for advanced students, readings and independence of South American rhythms (study and independence of the clave/Cascara/Mozambique etc.)

Extra information

Classroom and practical information:
- Own room equipped with two drumsets and a sound system to play on songs as well as available sofas for waiting parents.
- I also give online courses in multicam.
- Possibility of recording and filming (with the Yamaha EAD10).
- I ask the student to buy Volume 1 and 2 of the Dante Agostini drums method (multilingual). Scores of songs and other reading sheets will be printed on site or sent in pdf.

Drums - I am an active professionnal musician. On stage most of the weekends, on all major european festival and on tour. Very active also as a studio musican recording albums and their promotional videos regulargly. When planning allows also active as session musician. Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq.
He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente.

Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ”

In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

I'm Giorgos and i teach Lute and Classical guitar!
I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have studied and have my Degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, both in Classical Guitar as well as Historical Plucked instruments.

I regularly perform in concert halls with orchestras and groups all around Europe, perform with my own ensembles based in Brussels and Italy, and enjoy an active teaching schedule.

My aim with teaching is to find the best way to facilitate the student to find their own voice and direction, and to help steer them on their preferred road of performance. Giovanna raised and formed in Florence, where she began her guitar studies at the age of five at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. In September, she graduated cum laude and she's currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, studying with Antigoni Goni.

Winner of many international competitions, she performed plenty of times in Italy and in 2023 she has held a solo concert in Milan for the XXXVIII Società Umanitaria's concerts season. Next to renowned guitarists, such as Luigi Attademo and Giorgio Albiani, she performed the world premiere of Álvaro Company’s Concert Català for ten guitars, in the revision by Vincenzo Saldarelli.

Alongside her performing activity, Giovanna has developed a strong dedication to teaching adults, children, and teenagers. She tailors each learning path to the individual student, carefully balancing personal interests with technical and artistic development, whether for amateur musicians or students preparing for conservatory admission. I'm ENERVIU, a DJ and music curator based in Brussels. My sound ranges from UK club music like garage, bass, dub, and breaks to house, jazz, and funk selections. I play in various settings, from clubs to private events, and I also share my passion through videos about the history of musical genres.

I offer a four-session introductory course to DJing, tailored to your level and tastes.
My goal: to give you the basics to become independent behind the decks, develop your selection, and build a world that reflects your personality. Each session combines explanations, listening, and practical application.

**Session 1 — Discover DJing and develop your listening skills**

We will explore the role of the DJ and the different facets of their practice: club, radio, bar, or private event. We will discuss musical research, selection, and what gives a set its identity.

Through listening, you will learn to recognize tempo, beats, measures, and musical phrases, as well as identify introductions, breaks, and repeats. These fundamentals will allow you to better understand the energy of a piece and the appropriate moments for a transition.

**Session 3 — Preparing your music with Rekordbox**

We will use Rekordbox to import your tracks, organize your library and create playlists tailored to your mixing preferences.

You will learn to read waveforms, check the tempo and rhythmic grid, and then place useful cues using Memory Cues and Hot Cues. We will cover keys as a selection aid and prepare a USB drive compatible with the equipment used.

**Session 4 — Practicing and building your first mix**

We will combine the acquired skills to link several pieces together: tempo matching, alignment of musical phrases and transitions using volumes and equalization.
