About Me

I studied composition and guitar at various conservatories, earning my Master’s and PhD at the Royal Conservatory and Leiden University in the Netherlands. Much of my work involves composing music for dance productions—ballet and contemporary dance—and researching the connection between music and movement.

Guitar has been a part of my life since childhood, serving as my introduction to music. I started teaching guitar at a young age and have continued to enjoy it deeply ever since. In recent years, I’ve taught at the Virtuosi School of Music, the British School, and the American School, all based in The Hague, Netherlands.

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument.
Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students.

If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

The content of my lessons is tailored to what you need:
• Technique: Training flexibility and strength to be able to play more easily
• Interpretation of music in all styles: How do you play baroque, classical, tango, bossa, romantic?
• Learning to deal with stage fear and nerves: Everyone can learn this and it has everything to do with the way of practicing!
• Learn to study new music efficiently: Learn a new composition in a week or even a day.

For beginners, all of this is covered in my series of lessons.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced guitarist, together we map out your personal trajectory. Would you like to play classical pieces, learn more pop songs or improvise? That's all possible!

After my classical guitar studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, I started to specialize in music pedagogy with a specific focus on instrumental learning by ear and creative music making. Because of my insight into musical learning, I can adapt my lessons to your level and your preferences. I also have experience with various musical styles, so I'm flexible in that too!

Lessons take place at my home in Antwerp, but on location is also possible (subject to a fee and only for lessons of 1 hour).

I'm a master student in marimba, a beautiful percussion instrument, at the Royal conservatory of Antwerp.
My goal is to give alle the information about the music theory and harmony to all the djs and producer.
You'll learn the basics of the music and chord to have more consciousness during your composition process.
Don't be shy!
Write to me for every question or necessity.
I will put you at ease, because we are all human and we have all questions and doubts 😉

With more than six years of experience giving private classical and electric guitar lessons to children and adults, both amateurs and elementary and professional conservatory students.

I offer personalized guitar lessons based on the needs and objectives of the student; whether it is starting to play, improving technique, or support and supervision in conservatory courses. On the other hand, I am familiar with pop-rock music and I offer electric and acoustic guitar lessons.

Hello,

I have been playing the guitar for 20 years now. I like to teach and therefore I seek to transmit my passion through playful courses in Antwerpen in English or French. Don't hesitate and lets start this journey together. I will teach you how to play your favorite song quickly. Everything about rhythm, chords, picking. (music theory is not needed)
See you soon :)

My name is Sander. I am a guitarist and singer with Hippotrakor and L'itch, and I really want to coach/inspire people with the aim of igniting their creative fire. Our lessons will start from your vision of music, and we ask ourselves the question 'Why did you start playing? Then we will reconcile your motivation with the learning process of your instrument.

It's a bit of a different approach than with the classical music teacher, but don't let it put you off. I am trained as a remedial educationalist and teacher and also have six years of experience in the social sector. I can feel very well where your strengths lie and I am convinced that we can shape your trajectory together with those strengths.

I have only mentored one student so far, but I can proudly say that since this year he has released his first own CD, started performing, and has become a real ambient connoisseur.

Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate player seeking improvement, I offer customized instruction tailored to your unique needs and learning style, regardless of your age. Focusing on your musical interests and goals, I will help you develop strumming, fretting, picking, and soloing skills while expanding your knowledge of music theory and styles. With my experienced teaching and personalized approach, you will reach your full potential on the guitar or mandolin. Contact me today to schedule your first lesson!

I have been a self-taught guitarist for 10 years, and through this journey, I learned how to learn to play guitar. During my lessons, I will teach you the best and fastest methods to reach your guitar-playing goals, whether they are playing your favorite songs, improvising, or composing your own, as well as focusing on your favorite genres.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.

As a passionate professional guitarist I am looking forward to passing this passion on to other people. I will guide you in your journey through the classical guitar, and hope to stimulate your curiosity. I will not only guide you technically but I will also bring you the meaning of the music.

The lessons can be for beginners or advanced. I work with scores and not with tablatures. I do this because classical music is easier to understand that way. So I teach you to read scores and to be able to play them on the guitar. For the advanced we will mainly work on refining the repertoire, technical skills and tone projection.

Do you dream of making your own beats and sounds and compose them into your own electronic dance music track, but don't know where to start? Or maybe you already made your bangers but want to perform them live for your fans?Don't worry, I got you covered!

For the past 10 years I have been using Ableton Live for sound design and composition to pursue my own style.
For me the inspiration was in breakcore, dub, psytrance, hardcore, tekno, classical music, punk, metal, ... but for you it can be something completely different. Maybe you know exactly what you want to achieve. If not, we can explore together where the adventure of music production will take you.

It doesn't matter if you are just starting from scratch, or if you already learned some things but want to dive deeper into the software. For Advanced students, I also teach modular audio synthesis with the free software VCV Rack.

UNLOCK THE JOY OF MAKING MUSIC BY MASTERING BOTH THE GUITAR AND YOUR VOICE!

Have you ever wanted to sit down with a guitar and sing your favourite songs flawlessly, but found it difficult to coordinate your hands and your voice at the same time? Or perhaps you want to improve both skills individually? This class is designed specifically for you.

As a musician, I know that playing guitar while singing requires a special kind of rhythm and muscle memory. In these tailored, one-on-one lessons, we won't just practice boring drills—we will practice using the music you actually love to listen to.

🎸 What We Will Cover:
GUITAR ESSENTIALS: Chord shapes, smooth transitions, rhythm, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking.

VOCAL TECHNIQUE: Breath control, pitch accuracy, expanding your vocal range, and finding your unique tone.

THE "COMBO" COORDINATION: Specialized techniques to help you separate your hands from your voice, allowing you to play and sing simultaneously without losing the beat.

SONG INTERPRETATION: How to arrange songs to fit your personal style and vocal range.

🌟 WHY CHOOSE THIS CLASS?

Two-in-One Value: You get high-quality guitar instruction and vocal coaching combined into a single lesson.

100% CUSTOMISED: Whether you are an absolute beginner who has never touched a guitar, or an intermediate singer looking to accompany yourself, every lesson is adapted to your pace and goals.
