Guitar lessons at home for beginner to experienced players.

From 25 £ /h

Do you want to start playing guitar, pick it up again after a break, or improve your favorite songs?

Guitarist for over 25 years, I offer personalized lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to intermediate level.

My approach combines the pleasure of playing with progress: we work from your musical tastes, with accessible explanations and exercises adapted to your pace.

Depending on your objectives, we will address:

• The first chords and their progressions.
• The rhythm and techniques of accompaniment.
• Reading tablature and useful musical concepts.
• Learning rock, pop or variety songs.
• The coordination between singing and guitar.

Each session provides you with concrete elements to practice at home to gradually gain fluency and independence. No prior knowledge of music theory is necessary to begin.

Lessons are offered at your home in the Reichshoffen area or via videoconference, depending on availability. You must have your own guitar.

Tell me about your level and the pieces you would like to play: together we will build a learning experience that suits you.

Musically your
Sebastian

Learning an instrument should be fun and enjoyable. That's why each lesson is tailored to the student's profile, interests, and skill level. Whether it's drums, guitar, or ukulele, the important thing is to progress while having fun. That's why my teaching methods are adapted to each student, regardless of age or experience.

Passionate about the harp for over a decade, I am currently studying at the HEAR in Strasbourg.
Having participated many times in the internship of the International Celtic Harp Festival in Dinan, it is with pleasure that I could tackle both a classical and Celtic repertoire.

Hello Rockstars!

Are you a beginner on the guitar, looking for a framework to progress, or to perfect yourself in a specific style?

You're looking at the right ad. ;)

Guitarist for 12 years, 3 years in Hard rock / Pop bands in France and Asia, 3 years as a teacher, I am moving to Strasbourg in December, and am looking for 5 new students for individual lessons in 2025.

Regarding the course format: anything is possible! But keep in mind that there are 1000 ways to learn guitar, and your program will vary considerably depending on your goal:

- Discover the fundamentals gently, then decide what to do next;
- "Musical awakening", especially for children under 12
- Mastering a repertoire of Classics for evenings by the fireside;
- To accompany you for the singing;
- To have fun;
- Discover / acquire the techniques of specific genres;
- Playing in a group / going on stage;
- Compose;
- Jamming / setting improvisation evenings on fire;
- Etc.

... It is therefore essential to clearly define where we are going during the first meeting.

Regarding genres: rock, pop, jazz, blues, rumba, flamenco, bossa nova, etc.... --- > We'll go wherever you want, you're the boss after all ;)

Lessons take place at my home (near the République tram stop), at your home, or outdoors if you prefer (and the weather cooperates, haha). I recommend 45-minute sessions for children under 12.

You know everything. Feel free to contact me here or by phone to chat and see what we can do together.

Looking forward to exchanging ideas, future troubadour!

I offer guitar lessons for teens and adults who want to start learning in a relaxed, practical, and encouraging way.

I have several years of experience playing acoustic and classical guitar, and I have also helped beginners in my university guitar club. I enjoy helping new students feel comfortable with the instrument and make their first real progress without feeling overwhelmed.

In my lessons, we work on the fundamentals step by step: hand positioning, simple exercises, reading tabs, basic chords, rhythm, and beginner pieces. I adapt the lesson to each student’s pace and interests so that learning feels both enjoyable and effective.

My aim is to help students build confidence, develop good habits, and enjoy the process of learning guitar from the start.

• Practice & Repertoire: Essential technique work applied directly to your musical desires.
• Audience: Primarily designed for adults and teenagers wishing to progress calmly (excluding musical awakening).
