Hi, I’m Adna, a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for helping students unlock their potential. With over 7 years of experience playing the piano, 13 years of playing violin and 2 years of tutoring, I have developed a patient and personalized approach that adapts to the unique learning style of each student. I enjoy working with students who are eager to learn, and I focus on making lessons engaging and tailored to their interests.

My goal is not only to teach the material but to inspire confidence and a deeper understanding. I believe that learning should be fun, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.

I have played the violin for 13 years now and have participated in multiple orchestra's. Next to that I have played the piano for over 7 years now and have competed in an award show for young talent in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
Next to my practical experience I have obtained several certificates for music theory, making me an all-round tutor!

Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

Having over 15 years of experience as a teacher (including my own private studio and a teaching assistant at the University of Montreal), I am very dedicated to my students of each person.

My doctoral researches pertains to the neuropsychology of learning music (specifically, exploring the most efficient ways to learn a skill), thus I am thoroughly equipped to provide all sorts of tips and tricks from my research and personal experiences :)

The clarinet is a fascinating instrument. Its woody timbre, its tessitura close to the voice offers a wide range of musical directions. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, song or world music, we will progress together to connect the song and the instrument. To develop the breath, to consolidate its supports, to feel the rhythm and to shine the melodies, that is the objective!

I adapt my method according to each student but here are the central points of my educational work:

Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020. In parallel with my studies, I have always enjoyed sharing what I myself have the chance to continue to learn, so much so that I have been giving private piano lessons for 3 years.

I believe that for the student to get the most out of his course, a great adaptability of the teacher is necessary.
