About Me

Composer for cinema, advertising, tv but also for local and international artists for almost 30 years.

When I was 5, someone in my family decided that Grandma's piano, which proudly stood on a side of the living room, had to be used for something other than putting vases, knick-knacks and other hummingbirds. I was named as the child who should take up the piano. I had a one in three chance. It was a real chance.

After 12 years of conservatory in Piano section I turned towards Jazz and improvisation. Then it was the period of groups and concerts, in various styles, as keyboardist, singer and songwriter / songwriter.

Bathed since my earliest childhood in the world of cinema as a spectator, it was only natural that I turned to the composition of music for the image by leaving for Paris in order to follow composition and harmony lessons.

For 25 years I have been composing music for television, advertising, cinema, theater and other artists.

Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

Having over 15 years of experience as a teacher (including my own private studio and a teaching assistant at the University of Montreal), I am very dedicated to my students of each person.

- The basics of writing music, melodic (notation of pitches and rhythms on the staff) and harmonic (notation of chords);

I have been studying for a year in the "Performer Jazz" bachelor's degree in transverse flute at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne. With 20 years of instrumental practice, I began composing on my own by discovering computer-assisted music as a teenager. I then developed a more "written" composition style (on score) over the past 6 years during my studies at the Grenoble Conservatory (France). I obtained a Diploma of Musical Studies there rewarding 5 years of harmony and writing "in styles" which allowed me to appropriate the classical, baroque, romantic styles, of Fauré and Debussy, Bartok and Bill Evans. I also took free composition classes for 5 years.
My experiences include the musical setting of a feature film for a piano-flute duo, the composition of pieces for solo piano, for chamber music ensembles, for small orchestras, for jazz quartet and septet.
