About Me

My whole life has been about language – both teaching and learning. This gives me a great insight into what it is like to study English! English is my native language and I speak fluent Dutch & German, passable (rusty!) French and basic Russian.

My approach to teaching involves working in partnership with the student, to really focus on their specific English language goals and find ways to make the learning process enjoyable and accessible for them.

Conversational Spanish is a very important part of the learning as it is the natural way to learn it. My classes are designed to help students to learn in a natural way by choosing a topic and dealing with that topic from all angles: grammar, speaking, listening and translating. That helps students to gradually absorb what they are studying. I usually conduct a relaxing lesson where students feel they can improve and learn at their own pace.
Even if you are an absolute beginner you will be able to speak some Spanish by the end of the first lesson.
