My italian lessons focus on the main aspects of the language, such as grammar, speaking, listening and vocabulary. I also prefer using online apps or games to practise at the end of the lesson, not just regular exercises.

Ciao! My name is Chiara and I am from Italy. I am currently doing an MA in Japanese studies at Leiden University.
I can give Italian lessons to whoever would like to improve his skills (conversation, grammar, writing...) or for those who would like to start to learn this amazing language!
I can also help current Bachelor students in Japanese with their studies. I have a N2 level and I have been in Japan for 8 months. I can help you with conversation, kanji, grammar or whatever you may need!

As an Italian native speaker, I would like to focus not only on grammar and formal aspects of the language, but also on the cultural context in which phrases are used and coversation. My classes will be flexible and adaptable to the student's needs.

Here in Leiden I would like to teach Italian to people who don't only want to improve their grammar skills, but also their conversation skills.

I am an Italian international law graduate based in Leiden. I have a DILIT diploma to teach Italian to foreigners, meaning that I prefer to use a non-academic approach to teach the Italian language. I have over 5 years experience in teaching and tutoring. I usually teach my classes in Italian, but I can also speak English and Spanish. We will address all language skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading) in a relaxed one-to-one environment, while alternating the necessary grammar and vocabulary learning with language games, music and interactive discussions on news. My class will be held in Italian and English, and it will be tailored to the needs of the student. Assignments will be given after every class.

In this course you will learn Modern Greek (with some mentioning on Ancient Greek roots of the words, for anyone that is interested), grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation and sentence formation.

I will provide the learning materials and together we will come up with fun activities to incorporate in our classes to turn learning into fun!

*Greek is a very challenging language, thus the classes will be personalized depending on each student's goals, capabilities and knowledge*

I am a native Greek speaker with a University Degree in Psychology and Humanitarian Science. I have experience with helping children with their homework and a patient tutor.

I am a native English speaker from Ireland currently studying MSc Psychology at Leiden University. I received a grade A1 in my Leaving Certificate English studies and my BA degree includes a specialisation in English. I also have experience teaching English as a second language in both Spain and Zambia. I am available for lessons after lectures and during weekends. The lessons can be held in a location that suits you or via Skype, etc. if necessary.
These lessons can be for students of any level who want extra support in English acquisition or improvement. As the student you can choose which areas you would most like to focus on and I can structure the lessons with this in mind. This can include areas such as grammar, conversation, vocabulary, and much more. We can discuss together how best I can help you to improve your language skills based on your needs, for example through help with homework or setting additional homework.

Latin is fascinating and, despite its reputation of being a dead language, it can still be useful today. However, being unique, it is not always easy to understand its grammar and syntax and translating from Latin can be hard. Having studied it since when I was thirteen and with two cum-laude degrees in Classics, I know Latin deeply. Moreover, I have experience in giving classes to high school students, therefore I am aware of its difficulties and I know how to tackle possible hurdles in the most appropriate way for each student.
Apart from Latin, I am an Italian native speaker, trained in Italian language and culture. If you want to strengthen or practice your Italian, I am the right person!
