Tailored private violin and baroque violin lessons for all ages and levelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! This year I obtained my Master's degree in violin at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens under Lei Wang and am now starting my adventure as a professional violinist. I have been giving private lessons for six years now and hope to teach more this coming academic year than was previously compatible with my studies. In my lessons, I find it most important that students have fun and feel comfortable in their own skin. In my opinion, this is an essential prerequisite for continuous motivation to learn technically and musically, with a focus on a pace that feels right for the student. My teaching method varies greatly per student because I try to adapt each lesson to what suits the student best and what they need at a particular moment in the lesson. Besides being a musician at heart, I also have a strong interest in psychology. Consequently, over the past few years during my violin studies, I have taken a number of courses annually in the psychology program at KU Leuven. I use the knowledge I gained there to reflect on my educational practice as a violin teacher and to create a safe space for my students in which they can develop freely as musicians and as people. I look forward to meeting you! If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.

Violin lessons according to the Suzuki method for all ages!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to VIOLINSTUDIO ALLEGRETTO! Would you like to learn to play the violin according to the Suzuki method? Then you've come to the right place! A HOBBY FOR EVERYONE! What could be more fun than discovering the wonderful world of music with your child? The violin lessons start from the age of 4, where you as a parent also learn some basic techniques. This way you are fully involved in the musical education of your son or daughter! But of course you can also start with us as an adult student. Violin lessons are suitable for all ages, from 4 to 99 years old! LEARN WHILE PLAYING :) The violin lessons are tailored to each student. For young children we will work playfully full of fantasy and creativity! HOW DO WE GET STARTED? We work according to the mother tongue method of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, where we believe that anyone can learn the language of music, just as you learn to speak. Together we create a musical environment in which music is present every day! In front of? That is not required! You don't need to be able to read notes. We start playing by ear. PRACTICAL: - Every week you get an individual lesson of at least 30 minutes. Fancy more? Then that is of course also possible :) - Additional optional group lessons will start from January. We make music together and learn from each other! - You don't have a violin yet? I will immediately help you to rent or purchase a suitable instrument. - You can join at any time of the school year.

(Private) Mathematics tutoring for secondary school studentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

(Private) Mathematics tutoring for secondary school studentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

- What do the lessons entail? The tutoring focuses on mathematics in secondary education. I help students understand both the theory and its practical application in exercises. If necessary, I provide additional study materials, such as diagrams, summaries, or resources, to clarify the material. - My approach I would appreciate receiving an overview of the study material, tests, or assignments in advance that present difficulties. This allows me to properly prepare the lessons and focus on the student's specific needs. This also allows me to better assess the level. During tutoring, I try to explain the material in a simple and understandable way, often from a different perspective than in the classroom. My goal is for the student to truly understand the material and gain more confidence. Seeing progress and achieving results together gives me great satisfaction. - Why do I tutor? Mathematics has always been a great passion of mine. Although my current studies no longer revolve around it, I still enjoy pursuing it. Tutoring is therefore an ideal combination of hobby and extra income for me. Naturally, I always work in a professional and structured manner. - Experience Since 2018, I've been tutoring students of various ages, both in primary and secondary education. I also regularly help fellow students with their learning material, which is always a positive experience. - Who am I? My name is Arina, I'm 26 years old and I study law. I live and study in Leuven, where I also live in student housing. I'm an approachable, enthusiastic, and open person. This helps me quickly build trust, so students feel comfortable and confident asking questions. They know they can contact me outside of tutoring sessions if they get stuck on an exercise, and they often continue to do so afterward. During my own high school years, I struggled with math in my first and second grades. Although I found the subject interesting, I struggled to fully grasp the material because the explanations didn't align with my learning style. When I started tutoring (at my parents' insistence), my perspective on mathematics completely changed. My interest grew so strongly that I later pursued a degree in economics and mathematics. My love for mathematics has remained ever since. Because math wasn't a part of my further studies, I decided to tutor myself. This way, I can share my enthusiasm and help students develop the confidence I once had to build.

Cigdem is a great teacher who takes the time to integrate learnings with real-life discussions. For example, we spend 10 minutes at the start of each lesson and throughout the course of the lesson an extra 15-20 minutes having a chat about subjects including work and life in order to be able to apply all the theoretical learnings to the actual language.

Evelien is great in teaching and explaining. She spontaneously elaborated and adapted our classes wether prepared or unexpected whenever I had questions about any topic in Nederlands. She monitored my my learning continuously. I totally recommend her.

First lesson with my daughter went amazingly. My young daughter loved the lesson and is looking forward to the next. Now that's not normal for her..! Great communication skills, shown before the lesson and during. 5*
