About Me

My name is Marta and I am a postdoctoral researcher in Marine Biology from Italy. I have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences that I got at in 2016 in Ireland (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology). Since 2016, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Liège, where I study communication in fish.

As far as possible, I prefer that my students have a clear and precise goal (eg passing an exam, learning scientific English, making a memory ...).

My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
