I am a saxophonist, music teacher, arranger, and conductor. I obtained both the Diploma and the Master’s Degree in Saxophone and in Chamber Music, graduating with top marks. I perform regularly as a concert artist and teacher in Italy and abroad. My teaching method draws on the most modern methodologies, as well as on psychology and music pedagogy, always taking into account the needs and characteristics of each student. At the same time, I place strong emphasis on the theoretical foundations of music, listening, repertoire, and personal interpretation. For all levels.

About Me
Davide Nari is an Italian saxophonist, conductor, music teacher, and arranger known for his activity in classical, contemporary, and jazz music.
Nari performs regularly as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral saxophonist in Italy and abroad, including tours in Europe, the United States, and Asia. He has collaborated with major orchestras such as the Orchestra of the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Arena di Verona Orchestra, the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, the Sanremo and the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Orchestra.
He has been on tour playing and teaching at: University of Minnesota (of which he was also a substitute teacher), Bemidji State Unversity, Augsburg University (Minnesota); Manhattan School of Music, Queensborough Community College (New York); Western Connecticut State University (Connecticut); McNeese State University (Louisiana). In 2018 he played and teached as the only European teacher at the “1st Saxophone Camp” in Seoul, South Korea.
As a chamber musician he is a member of ensembles such as Duo Brillance, Klonos Trio, and Trio Panamericano, performing a repertoire that ranges from classical and romantic works to contemporary music and tango. His activity also includes premieres of works by contemporary composers and recordings with international labels.
Alongside his performing career, Nari is an active educator and frequently gives masterclasses and workshops. He has taught and performed at universities in the United States and other international institutions, and he is involved in music education and artistic direction for several musical organizations and festivals.
He has won several prizes in national and international music competitions and is also active in jazz, collaborating with well-known musicians (Eric Marienthal, Baptiste Herbin, ect.) and performing at major jazz festivals.

Education
Davide Nari studied saxophone at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Genoa, graduating with top marks. He later earned a Master’s Degree in Saxophone from the same conservatory and a Master’s Degree in Chamber Music from the Giuseppe Nicolini Conservatory in Piacenza, both with highest honors. He also obtained the LTCL performer diploma from Trinity College London. He also studied orchestral conducting.
