The Pasta Making lesson will consist of making the dough and then shaping it into different types of pasta. You can choose between egg dough or semolina dough (vegan), and we can decide together which filling, shape, natural colouring or condiment you may prefer.
The one described above is my signature course, but I also offer customised courses and am happy to arrange cooking classes on a variety of dishes.

The class can be online or I can come to your house with all of the necessary material.

Hi, my name is Francesca and I am a professional pasta maker, with years' experience in some of the top pasta restaurants in London. My first teacher was my grandmother and I have been making pasta since I was a child. I will teach you all the secrets on how to make the perfect fresh pasta from scratch , as well as any Italian classic you may want to learn.

- Chess: I teach chess to beginners and intermediate players up to ELO 1800 or ECF 1700, working on the tactical and strategic aspects of openings, middle games and endgames.. "chess is life in miniature"!

- Fitness / Running / Triathlon: I coach people who want to get fitter and generally incorporate any endurance activity into a health(ier) lifestyle. I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). I focus on nutrition, stress and sleep as well for a holistic approach.

For the teaching purposes, throughout the classes, I will use different highly-rated textbooks of local editions, effective YouTube channels, interesting articles. I will cover main functional areas of Italian grammar and vocabulary within different areas and will make sure that you start speaking since the first class already, since Practice Makes Perfect and Italian is not so difficult as it may seem at first!

Through my experience as a secondary school teacher, I have come to realise that the acquirement of a language goes
beyond just having another skill.

Languages give students an opportunity to understand another culture and build respect and awareness as an individual. Equally, being an individual who enjoys immersing themselves in other cultures, I believe it is extremely beneficial to make use of out of classroom learning experiences, especially in language learning.

I look at creating engaging and interactive lessons in which students are consistently exposed to the spoken language to promote their confidence and create a safe environment in which they can explore the language without fear.
