I’m a KCL student studying Politics, with an A* in English A-Level. I’ve worked with children of all ages during my time at Kumon and am well versed in the GCSE and A-Level English curriculum. During the sessions, I will work to supplement the child’s school curriculum by providing them with past papers and additional resources. I will also provide homework material, which will be marked in time to review in the next session.

This class aims to make English fun and rewarding for all! A deeper appreciation of literature and the subject will be explored through a tailored, unique approach! You will learn how to answer English exam questions effectively with an eye towards exam criteria and marking specification.

I specialise in tutoring Maths, English Language, English Literature and cooking skills for primary mainstream and SEN children. In my classes, I’ll be helping students with any English, History or psychology work that they have whether it’s homework, tutoring for an exam or if they’re generally interested in any of the subjects. GCSE English Literature and Language have a range of skills required to pass in the UK. I will teach you how to analyse different texts, pick out the most relevant quotations, write exam-style paragraphs, and structure your essay answer according to the exam question.
