Cello lessons for beginners, amateurs and advanced students

One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me. I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

Cello is one of the most versatile instruments, and wherever your interest lies, I would love to accompany you down that road. Hello, I am a professional cellist with a master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Passionate about teaching music and the cello, I have been teaching for many years in music schools (music ensemble XX, passion leitmotif), conservatories (replacements) and in the private sector. There is no age to start playing an instrument: my adult students show me day after day! As for children, they can also start very early at the age of 4 and a half. First of all, I am very excited to work with you. Teaching piano is a passion for me. Since the age of 5 I have been practicing piano. I completed my high school, university and graduate studies in Turkey. Together with me, we can bring our piano pieces to life.

Cello lessons should arouse joy and curiosity. My students will explore their instrument in their own way and find their own sound. It doesn't matter whether it's classical, new music, pop/jazz or improvisations, because it's about making music. Since I have a very broad background - I studied classical education, now I'm studying new music, I play in a band and a string quartet and improvise regularly - I'm very happy to pass on my knowledge and experience. The lessons will be very individualized because I respond to the students' wishes and ideas. Group lessons for up to three people are also possible. Since not everyone can afford lessons, I have a solidarity pricing system. Just ask directly if it concerns you.

The class is online cello lessons for beginner, intermediate, or advanced students. I am a cello performance major at the shepherd School of Music, and I’m looking to expand my cello teaching studio. I am currently a junior and will graduate as a part of the class of 25.

I hope to inspire my student’s to trust themselves, experiment and find a joyful sense of freedom when creating music. I love to create a balance between a focus on technique, musical expression and background information on the music we’re playing. I have a classical music background, my work currently covers film music, musical theatre, pop, classical and folk. My teaching can involve elements of the Dalcroze, Kodaly, Orff and Suzuki methods, depending on the students’ needs and background. Exam-wise, I am very happy to support my students in achieving specific grades, just as I am happy setting milestones via more and more challenging repertoire. Lesson length and frequency can depend upon the student, I would highly recommend practicing in some way every day.
