If you have been looking to pick up a pair of drumsticks for the first time ever, or if you used to play the drums and feel like getting back to it, or even if you feel like you've hit a plateau on your drumming and are not sure how to take it to the next level, I want to help you.

I am passionate about music and drums and I am also very excited to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over all these years. As I currently have the chance to take on a few more students, I am happy to teach people of all ages and levels, as I'd love to inspire more people to play music, be it as a dream or just a hobby.
My lessons are light and fun, but educative and will help you reach your goals.

The topics I cover range between learning songs, rudiments, coordination, reading, even music theory if you'd like, and anything else you have in mind (the philosophy behind creativity and drumming is definitely on the table!).

Lessons are only running online at the moment - the good news is that they work really well!
I have a full remote teaching setup, including a full drum kit, 3 high-quality camera angles, professional sound, and an online whiteboard, with lessons being run in Zoom.
For my lessons, you take what you can - If you have an acoustic or electric drum kit at your disposal, that is fantastic! If not, then no problem. If you have a practice drum kit yourself (or even just a pad and a pair of sticks), you are good to go!

About Me

Hi!

I am Nuno, a professional London-based drummer, with plenty of performing and teaching experience. I graduated from a BMus Popular Music Performance degree at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2019, and I've been playing and studying music, and more specifically drums for 16 years. In that time, I've been involved in several bands and other projects, and I've taught drums and percussion to people with ages ranging from 4 to 55.
I also work in a drum shop/studio, and I have been a drums auditioning tutor in ICMP since 2019.

For 10 years I've been playing guitar and bass, too and have managed to use those skills to write and record my own music. As such, I've gained experience in both songwriting, recording and producing music.

I am passionate about music and drums, and also very excited to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over all these years. I graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2019, from a BA(Hons) in Popular Music Performance (Drums) course, with a "Best Drums" Award.

I have been teaching, mainly 1-2-1's, since 2012, both in music schools and privately.
This included students of all ages and levels.
