About Me
My background includes extensive experience in the film music industry. I have composed for multiple short films, documentaries, and feature films across genres. I am a classically trained orchestral percussionist, and pianist, with a specialization in mallet percussion.
This year, I was a graduate professor at New York University, where I created and taught a curriculum for Music Composition, Beginner Film Scoring. The curriculum covered the basics of music theory, composition, orchestration, instrumentation, and composing to picture. The course covered all types of media, such as animation, video game, advertisements, and film. Students also learned how to utilize DAWs for creating music.
I obtained my Master of Music in Film Scoring and music theory from New York University, where I was chosen by Alan Menken to be a recipient of the Alan Menken Scholarship. I achieved my Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Oxford, where I was awarded a scholarship in performance from the Royal Academy of Music.
I have 5+ years experience teaching instrumental and music theory lessons privately. I found my love for the marimba at aged 9, and consequently for percussion and piano joining a junior conservatoire at 14.
Being taught by some of the greatest percussionists to date, including Dame Evelyn Glennie and Anthony Kerr, I hope to inspire all my future students to ignite their passion for music and performance, as they have for me.

I have been fortunate enough to perform with many orchestras across the UK, and as a solo artist. This has included performing in a masterclass at the Cambridge International Jazz Festival with Dame Evelyn Glennie, winning the Canterbury Festival Young Musician competition, being a solo artist at Deal Music and Arts Festival, and performing with the BBC Concert Orchestra. I have been a percussionist since the age of 9 and studied orchestral percussion at Trinity Laban Conservatoire from 2015-2019.
