I teach 11+ students, KS3 and GCSE English students. I do realise people learn differently, so I will be flexible and try to adapt my teaching methods to each student. I may use worksheets, quizzes and even power points. For GCSE students, I will typically analyse different or required texts with them and help them improve their essay writing by planning answers to questions and assessing their recent work. I have just finished my A levels and am predicted an A in English language and literature, and I have achieved a grade 9 in GCSE English literature and a 7 in English language. I have studied many different texts and classics, like An Inspector Calls, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Romeo and Juliet. Through this job, I hope to improve my student's grades, not just by making sure they perform to the best of their abilities, but also by introducing to them the fun aspects of English.
